Cool.  Didn't know parts were available to build one from scratch. 

    Cabela's makes Gander Mtn look like a Dollar General.  I've bought a fair bit of stuff from Cabela's over the years and it's all been first rate. 

        What is it about dogs and snow?  My dog loves it too.  She ran around like a lunatic while I shoveled the driveway.  Not that my tossing shovel-fulls of snow at her had anything to do with that...   :whistle:

    I know the ceiling isn't insulated and I doubt the walls are.  Builders are so f'ing cheap.  :shake:

Was 3" last night before bed.  Appears to be about 5" here now and still coming down, though it's pretty light at the moment.

    I just installed this kit in my doors.  http://www.doorinsulationkit.com/   Super easy to install with the exception of the top panels, which are a pain because of the bracing across the top of the door.  I'll be honest and say I'm a little disappointed in the result.  My garage stays a few degrees warmer, but it's not the 10-15 deg I was hoping for.  I'll reserve final judgement until the summer.  My doors face south and it gets blazing hot in the summer.  I'm hoping they'll do more in that regard. 

A friend's mother lives within a house or two of this location.  No damage to her house, but she said it was a big boom. 

Next time put the sight in the freezer for a while and heat the slide up.  It'll probably slide right in.

    I've never understood the attraction of stainless appliances.  Stainless is cold and commercial looking, not something I want in my home.  The surfaces are generally higher maintenance and less durable than just plain white.  And you get all those benefits for a 20% higher price!  :squint:

Search is your friend.  The biggest issue you'll have is the noise and your neighbors. 

It's currently illegal to carry in a park that's hosting a school group, whether you know the school group is there or not.  In fact, the school group could be miles away from where you are and the way the law is written, it wouldn't matter.  Stupid, stupid, stupid...

Our sink is a kohler cast iron and I didn't buy the kohler flanges either. Both the disposal and strainer fit basically flush. Both measure about 4-7/16.

Quite true. I tore the top of my workbench loose from the base while applying a stupid amount of torque to something in my vice.

Good deal. If she's happy with it and can run it effectively, that's all that matters.

I would've left the original stocks unless they were really crappy. I do like the tech sights, got them and a Kivarri trigger on my yugo.
