  2. looks like a heavy subsonic hunting round for 300 blk.
  3. I just procured a 75 ft. Utility pole to mount my antennas on. As soon as I bring home a Bobcat with an auger to dig the hole. As far as equipment goes it get expensive fast you can find some good older stuff out their. My first and still favorite hf rig is an old kenwood ts-130 that is still kickn. This is the first time that I had a decent base station set up. Most of my hf work has been mobile. Sent from another clumsy piece of tech.

    It's Hot

Its so hot the chickens are laying hardboiled eggs.
  10. 300 blackout 125gr. sierra matchking bullet infront of 17.1 grs. of win 296.coal 2.210 and federal 205 primer to light it off. i tried a couple of different power weights from 17.0 up to 17.5 and this was my best one. Shot off bipod from my rem 700 bolt gun.
  11. Thanks guys i will defiantly be picking up some more books. And outside of a few select people i usally take load data with a suspicious eye.
  12. Yep. I have a log book that i will be keeping load data in. I will have to pick up a new reloading manual since mine is old enough that it doesnt have 300blk or 357 sig in it but i did find serrias load data page and barnes page for the projectiles. I know its subjective but whats the best reloading book right now?
  13. i was going to start with 45 but i was running low on 300 and have plenty of 45 left. but i have a feeling i will be adding 45,30-06 and s&w 500 to the mix real soon. the one i'm not looking forward to is 357 sig.
  14. Well a little while back i bought a lee classic turret press(Thanks KB4NS). I ordered the dies for 300blk and got them installed. I dont have powder or primers for it yet but i got everthing all set up and it wasnt as difficult as i had thought. i had a bunch of factory loads and figuerd i would pull a couple of them apart and thake some measurements and put them back together to make sure everthing was actually set right. Sucess all went bang not boom and hit the target right where the factory loads hit. I have been saving as much brass as i could and had a small amout of 5.56 lake city that i managed to find after shooting. chucked them up in the drill and cut them off with a tubing cutter and ran them through the sizeing die and it was beautiful thing. now i'm waiting of the trimer to show up and then i'm off to try to find some powder and primes. I just want to say a big thanks to TGO for all wealth of info. and i'm sure if I wasnt a member here i would probably still be collecting brass and have no forward progress to start reloading.
  15. Looks like someone left a 1911 and a Springfield XD alone and that is the offspring.
