I can't get the dang thing to play! Good un. We were working on a house. One of my helpers was in one room (Jeff F.), the other helper in another room (Jeff J.). So Jeff J. calls out, "You know how to keep an idiot in suspense?". Jeff F. answers, "How?". This went on for a good while, each time Jeff F. answered "how", the tone of his voice grew more frustrated and angry. Before it was over, Jeff J. and I were in tears.

About as welcomed as a cold nosed dog in a nudist camp.

The all time most graphic, puzzling, how in the world did they come up with that was said about a truck, "it's so weak that it could not pull a sick whore off a piss pot!" I've only heard it once in my life, but I don't guess I will ever forget it. Something a little more forum related, the phrase "gave it the whole nine yards" is a reference to a machine gun belt that is nine yards long.

Some thoughts. Some people kill courtesy and respect. Guy on talk radio has caller call him mister. Host says, don't call me mister, my dad is mister so in so. Just killed someone trying to show respect. Also, I've learned to give rude people the benefit of the doubt. No telling what they have been going through that day. Maybe a loss of a loved one. There are tons of inexcusable rude, disrespectful jerks out there, no doubt. On a positive note. I stopped to get gas in my truck one day. A somewhat elderly lady pulled up beside me at the opposite pump. She was dressed very nicely, dress, shoes, all. I asked if she would let me pump her gas seeings how she was so nice and clean, and after all I was in my work clothes. She allowed me to pump her gas. Afterward she humbly thanked me and then informed me she was on the way to her husbands funeral. Now this lady was in no way rude to me, but you just never know what kind of day someone is having. All the more reason to be nice and respectful to everyone, even the rude.

A lot of appraisers are just glorified scammers, as some have indicated above. A friend of mine hired one. The guy literally drove around his circular drive way and drove off. The appraisal came back way low. When my friend questioned if he had included the full finished basement that the appraiser had no idea that existed among other things such as sq. footage, the guy just shrugged his shoulders. The appraiser tried wanted $600 for his hard work. My friend refused the pay him saying he did not do his job. The guy did not bother to challenge him.

I'm torn. One side of me does not want the bill to pass. Putting myself in the place of a business owner, If I don't want guns or anything else on my property, I should be able to make that decision. The other side of me, the side that wants to take my weapon everyplace I go, the side that says "hey, they make laws about everything else like who gets hired, fired, hours worked, medical leave etc., they might as well pass one that that I really like", wants it to pass.
