  1. New vehicles are not shipped full of fluids. The dealer has to fill them up. It is a way of passing on costs.
  2. So, long story short. I live in Chattanooga and have been looking for a new Wrangler. I finally found exactly what I wanted at a dealership in Birmingham, Alabama. I got a check from my credit union and headed down there on 4.9.16. My experience at the dealership wasn't the best during the negotiation process, but that is a different dicussion. I bought the Jeep and started the two hour drive home. Stopped at a rest area 40 miles later to have the tie rod fall off. It was towed to the nearest dealership where the tie rod, wheel, and tire are being replaced. There is a chance I will get it back this week. It is supposed to be delivered to me. I've called Jeep customer service. They say they are going to do something for me, but that was a week ago. I'm still waiting to hear their offer. I still want the Jeep as it is exactly what I wanted. However, I feel I deserve some compensation. Thoughts?
  3. I'm still waiting on my rebate that was sent in December. They at least acknowledge that they received it now.
  4. After six months, the FFL can claim the guns are abandoned and assume possession.
  5. That is pretty well organized. I would be impressed if I wasn't so disgusted.
  6. Received mine today. Thank you again. Strangely, I haven't cut myself yet, but I haven't had it 24 hours. Could be a record for me.
  7. You totally missed the point. Their sign there says made in the USA. Their guns say otherwise. That's why I'm not a fan.
  8. How come their guns say made in Croatia? That picture is a bit telling of their honesty. I do find it funny they bought an American name and only carried foreign guns.
  9. Thank you again. My left hand thanks you too.
  10. That is a rough reference. The fact they are so ambiguous about it says something. Either way, we know most of their guns are not USA made.
  11. Ruger. Everything they make is US made. They also make good stuff.
  12. Is it fair to say it is a ESEE 5 with nicer steel?
  13. What does this sheath look like? I didn't see a pic.
  14. That's a bit misleading. Their website does state you have to buy their range safe ammo if you are a guest. It doesn't say anything about members though. One would think the policy would be the same. What do you pay at Carter's? Is it a law enforcement discount? I think most local places let officers in uniform shoot for free.
  15. I was referring to Sportsmans Supply in Hixson. I think you have to buy your ammo from them when you buy range time.
  16. How much was the ammo? I heard the Supply store required you to buy theirs.
  17. You can shoot up to a 5.56 rifle at Shooters Depot, but the range isn't really long enough to enjoy it that much. If you shoot on Tuesday or Thursday, it is only $10 a person.
  18. I think the manual even tells you to remove it. Either way, it'll be fine. Just put a few drops of oil on it and shoot the crap of of it.
  19. I have the 2.0. How would you compare the two? Worth upgrading? I wish the 2.0 was more flexible. I could see the shell rubbing a hole in the jeans eventually
