  1. 6.9mm and those sights are pretty nice. They do sometimes lack quality control though.
  2. If you take the magazine disconnect out, then you'll probably have to replace the trigger return spring as well.
  3. A quick Google shows plenty of places to buy a rambler. Not sure what you mean by that. And shipping is never the hold up. Production will, but shipping in today's world isn't really a constraint for anything.
  4. True, but buying from a TN company who has their stuff made in China doesn't instill patriotism. Yeti has two plants in the US and one in the Philippines. And you can request US made from Yeti.
  5. He only has one post. Please don't fall for this false tale.
  6. I'm betting there are more durable MIM parts than some of the metal in this gun.

    Cz and sig?

Really? I can't even take that comment seriously. I like CZs, but that has been a problem for quite some time. Had you said that the issue was fixed, then I would feel better about them. They feel like a hi power in the hand which is extremely high praise. I'm really surprised more manufacturers don't mimic the hi power grip more. The Sig doesn't feel as good. The Sig feels awful to me trying to shoot left handed. That extra hump from the decocker sure does mess with me. They (CZ) do make some pretty nice rifles. I'm surprised they aren't more popular.

    Cz and sig?

Do CZs still break from dry firing? They are the only modern gun I can think of that can be damaged dry firing, excluding rimfires.
  9. Most new right handed shooters miss left. Most push down as well anticipating the recoil. That's for pretty much every gun.
  10. How top heavy is it? It looks like a really high ride holster.
  11. I own the VP9 and love it. I'll have a PPQ M1 soon though. I prefer the VP9 feel, but I enjoy both. The triggers are a wash for me.
  12. I carry the p238 or the p938 IWB sometimes. I think it is a little big for Pocket carry. I've never had the safety flick off. I don't deem it any safer or more dangerous. The p238 is just way more fun to shoot than my LCP.
  13. The Kimber 3 inch model is one of the more reliable smaller 1911s. It is a hand full to shoot though. Kimber makes a good 1911. They made nice 1911s when no one else really was. You could say they are responsible for popularity of the 1911 today. They've just now started lowering their prices some. I think that is the cause of most of the disdain.
  14. K frames are the best. Only reason someone wouldn't prefer it would be if they had not experienced it yet.
  15. I don't think anyone in town can do it. I think you'll have to send it off somewhere.
  16. I thought they could ask, but you are not required to comply. Of course, cops can lie to you all they want.
  17. But you don't have to produce anything at a DUI checkpoint, right?
  18. Maybe you lost me, but... It is illegal to drive without a license, but an officer just can't pull you over to check your license, right? If is illegal to carry workout a license, but an officer can stop typy whenever to check type permit? And gun ownership is a right whereas car ownership is a privilege?
  19. When can you take the class? Only the weekend or during the week? How many people?
  20. Wow. They aren't responsible. They did their due diligence. I'm sorry. That sucks.
  21. I'm betting they will sell it to you. Call them tomorrow and see if you can pick it up.
  22. It isn't a bad gun. I think it would rate higher if it could use j frame holsters.
