  1.  The Unibomber insistence that his "manifesto" be published, was what did him in. His brother recognized it  & eventually turned him in. Not a good thing, egos.  There was a bomb signature, after the fact.    Gonna be interesting how this shakes out.
  2.  There has been a bombing on the outskirts of Lebanon, on Vance Lane. Man was  killed, wife critical.  Law enforcement has been on scene for a couple of days. ATF investigating, along  with State & local LEO.  It's been all over the local TV news. LE are being very tight lipped. Bomb did major  damage to the house.  Sorry I don't have a link, but you can catch it on the local TV news.  The man was supposedly a retired attorney. Older couple.  Everbody is warned to be careful of suspicious packages, and to call 911 if found.
  3.  Kicked by a rabid squirrel in a run down old farm house.    Ironic, since I love to squirrel hunt. Guess I better watch my back, LOL
  4.    Just kiddin about the dough. And agreed, there'll be some with the "Lee's are junk" thing.  They do work, without sacrificing an arm / leg..Personally, I can't see parting with several  hundred bucks for a Dillon, but to each his own.
  5.  Nothing wrong with Lee stuff, Greg.  I never had their press, but do use the dies. Very pleased with them.  I still have & use the first & only press I've owned....a RCBS Junior I bought back in the late 60's. Don't recall  what I gave for it. It's seen some use, for sure.  I'd say you got your money's worth. Now that you're rolling in dough, you can move up to a big bad  Dillon,
  6.  My vote is English. They can call me whatever they like. Way too much PC & butt kissing as it is. 90% of the  people that sing the National Anthem, do their best to screw it up & do, so now they do the same to America  The Beautiful.  Sing it as written or sit down.  JMHO
  7.    None of the above. 2 from Ak, 3 from grenade schrapnel, all in the lower legs/ft. 16 mos. in Army hospital. I'm not large, just fortunate. Nothing like on TV.
  8.    LOL, which is why I stay away from bookies.
  9. When I was with the Sher. Dept., we were required to wear one. Warm weather, they're HOT!!, rest of the time, they're tolerable, never comfortable. Wore one some in 'Nam, weighed a ton. Personally I don't care to wear one now, to each his own. Think I'd opt for taking ducking lessons. I took 5 hard hits in 'Nam, none of which hit anywhere near where a vest would cover.....just saying.
  10. Glad to see any gun manufacturer move to TN, or any other legit industry, for that matter. Certainly jobs are needed here. As to buying a Beretta, I don't have a plan to. Perfectly satisfied with my Walther PPQ. Nothing against Beretta, good gun. Just don't have a need to buy a gun I don't need. I wish them well, regardless.
  11.  Broncos 27-24
  12.    Heck, yeah, go for it. I was a machinist in Lebanon for 15 yrs. Trouble is, my birthday &  dirt is the same, so I'm out of the running, LOL  Would be nice tho........
  13.    Yep, I couldn't force my tongue to say that!
  14. LOL, well, we all gotta go sometime. I bought mine over a yr. ago, I think, ran about 3K rounds thru mine, thus far. Absolutely love it. Likely, after 34 yrs., I won't be able to tell a piece of brass from a tumbler.

    Yellow Jackets!

       Amen! Napalm is your friend.
  16.  I'm still waiting for NY & Calif. to slip off into the ocean.
  17.  They hit Lebanon Pawn recently, as well. Got several handguns, etc
  18.  I thought it was a good show. Sold my Win. Mod 70 as soon as I walked in the door. Didn't buy anything. I agree with Greg,  we need to start wearing name stickers on our shirt, paint our nails or something, LOL, so we can recognize the TGO.  Now I'm ready for some NFL tomorrow.
  19.    Totally agree. I went from a Frankford tumbler to a Thumblers Tumbler, stainless. Like  night & day. Wear is NOT an issue. More expensive initially, but worth it, to me at  least. The media doesn't wear out & have to be replaced like dry media.  Like you said, I'll never go back to dry.
  20. You could petition the fair board, but likely be a waste of time. Mayor Carl Dean has been trying to shut down the fairgrounds for some time.He has some developer buds that want it bad. Parking fees is just another tactic to achieve that. So far the fairgrnds has held it's own, but at a price to those who go there. Even without the $5 parking fee, the $8 admission for a show that size is over the top, not to mention thew flea mkt crap inside. Yep, the whole scene sucks. .
  21. Doesn't bother me. Now, the Casey Anthony clothes auction ad afterward......that is disturbing.
  22.  I don't have an inside track to the show. RK does have a history of not keeping the website up to date. So, I'll  wait & see what happens.  David (dlm), might have some idea.  That said, can't see why they would not have shows there, other than contract disputes, or rent prices. RK is  about money. Great location, building, etc. free parking.
  23.  OP, I feel your pain. I've done business with Midway for years, also, but the shipping charges have gotten totally out  of hand. Personally, I make it a point to avoid backorders altogether. Usually ends up being a bad experience for me.  Strange thing, todays business world. When supposedly, businesses are trying to attract customers, stay in business,  or whatever the situation, customer service has gone the way of the buffalo & high button shoes ( I know most of  you don't remember that, LOL ). Do some serious shopping around, online, LGS, shows, take your best shot.  None are all that attractive.  I intended to order 2 boxes of shotshells from Midway, about $16/box. Shipping was going to be $18. Clicked off  the site, never placed the order.
  24.    The same people that go to a ball game or race & get so drunk they can't tell one team  from another.  Just saying...
