  1. Personally, I've had less trouble finding powder than any other component, or equipment. From every report i've read from Mfg., is they don't see this as long term & unwilling to expand. Who's right is anybodys' guess. Regardless, not going away anytime soon. Panic buyers, hoarders, resellers are still the main issue. IMO
  2. Space is not really a major issue. Do need a sink to pour out the dirty water & rinse, but for drying, I put mine in a glass casserole dish & dry with a hair dryer on Hi. Doesn't take but a few minutes to dry. You can sub most any pan for the dish. Lots of different ways to do this. Use a bit of good ole American ingenuity. Some just put 'em out in the sun to dry.....which has been in short supply lately. Also, lots of ideas on the STM website tutorials & others. I started out with a vib. tumbler & it has its own issues. Neither is for everyone.

    Remington R-51

Didn't hear him mention whether he had cleaned it or not. Remington ships with a ton of gunk, or at least my Mod. 783 was. Took a bunch of cleaning. May be the problem, maybe not, but would be interesting to know before condemming it.
  4. Ad...Springfield mags for sale.....wanted to just delete the ad, lock it, whatever, it's ran for a while, no takers. Can find no options. Is there a button that needs fixing?

  6.    Clever girl. Opportunity knocks. LOL
  7. I've never had that to happen, but have read reports of it. Rare, I'd say.
  8. I had one in .357 years ago, very accurate, sweet shooting son of a gun. Also had one in .44 mag. Wish I still had the .357. Should do well. Be nice if they did the pack tho.
  9. 10,  3x in row, whatever that's worth.
  10. Rather strange he went thru all these LE classes & didn't learn that knives & stun guns aren't allowed on school property. Felony is over the top tho. Ohio may have stiffer laws.
  11.  Stick with the F series, you'll be a happy man.
  12. Al Gore & his research buddies have made a mint off this crap. Makes my butt want a dip of snuff!
  13.  Mossberg 500, 20" bbl. 3" 00 buck. & a Streamlight TLR-1.
  14. I've never been in the A-H store, being it's in downtown Nashville & quite a bit out of my way. Likely, now, I won't be going. Not a good way to run a ship. If David & Sam doesn't have it ,or online, I'll wait.
  15.  I worked at the Trousdale Co. jail for 3 years, plus there on a regular basis as Dep.  Not a nice place. Working there ain't no picnic.
  16.     The only place I've been able to find any, on the shelf, was BassPro and WallyWorld, at times. You may have to ask @ WallyWorld. Online, shipping will cost as much as a box of shells. My experience.
  17.  Received my renewal notice Mar.5, malied it back with my check Mar. 6. Not due til June. The waiting begins.       Update.....received my letter today that the appl. had been recd. ( 8 days )    Update #2....received my renewed permit in the mail today.16 days. Not too shabby  I guess.
  18. Not to hijack the thread, tho part relates to S/H, an example for thought. I recently order various reloading parts, etc., from 3 different vendors. Total cost was $149.13. Total S/H cost was $ 44.54. That's approx. 30% for S/H. One of the few things gun related you can't blame on Obama. This is just pure greed, IMHO. Not unusual for an item you can put inside you hand, costs more to ship than the part is worth. Venders have filed a claim on a gold mine here. Only option is to buy off the store shelf. Problem is most LGS do not carry a large selection, and then there's sales tax, so......
  19.  Awesome!! Would have loved to seen the expression on the guys face.
  20. Seems as though a lot of online businesses are making a bundle on S/H these days. Watch the bottom line before you hit "Order".
  21.  Beats me. Haven't seen one with that flat top. You can probably get a Frankford Arsenal for about the same price.  They work well for a vibrating tumbler.
  22.    Love them owls.
  23.    Sandra Bullock would look good at a dog fight.
  24.    As did I. LOL
