I'm literally open to any suggestions. I've had a bunch of fun, the last few months, bringing a few old rifles back to life. A couple of old 1930s Husqvarnas, a knackered old Remington a cut-down K98 & I'm presently working on the world's (previously) UGLIEST Carcano bubba-job. Turns out, that working on projects like this, along with working on getting my bike how I want it, are really helping my depression. I went from a lifetime of building things, to working a job for the last 14 years that whilst enjoyable, doesn't have the same sense of satisfaction as starting with nothing & finishing with a useful product. So I'm looking for old, disused, manky, rusty old rifles i can, if not restore, then at least refinish & remodel into working, things. Previously "sporterized" are preferable, that way I won't be accidentally devaluing a collectible piece. When I'm done with them, I'll offer them back to the original seller for whatever i pay, plus whatever actual parts I need to source (with receipts). My time will be free. If the original seller doesn't want it back, I'll either keep it or offer it up on the open market for an extra, say, $50? I'm 100% NOT trying to make any money, not trying to be or learn to be a gunsmith, I'm just looking for the sense of satisfacion of making at least a polycotton blend purse from a sow's ear I really don't want to spend tons, probably $300 max & old & rusty would be preferred over modern & just broken.

FDE Walther P22 CA for sale — low round count. Comes with two magazines and the laser unit Walther made for it. Nothing wrong with it. It’s actually a very fun .22lr pistol to shoot. Used it to get my wife into shooting and she’s ready to think about carrying a 9mm. Hoping for $300.

Savage 111 Long Range Hunter. Has a switchable muzzle brake, easy shooter with the brake turned on (but loud), and quiet enough to not blow out your ear drums (but kicks a little harder) with the brake off. Has a Timney trigger installed, and I also have the factory trigger. Has a Weaver picatinny rail for easy scope mountig. Factory adjustable cheek riser and Hogue overmold style stock with flat bottom for a more ideal rest. $400 for just the rifle $600 and I will include a Vortex Pro series cantilever scope base with a 20 MOA cant for a 30 mm scop $700, or $800 trade value, I'll include an older Lyman single stage press, a set of Hornady 300 win mag dies, Hornady 208 grain bullets, 50 pieces of once fired brass (formed to the chamber), and an unopened pound of Magnum powder. I'll also toss in some Federal Large Rifle Magnum primers, though I'd recommend new primers as these are old and unboxed. So, everything you need to start reloading for it. Would consider trades as well, full or partial. Interested in almost anything. Can add some cash if needed. -

I've got a CMP M1 GARAND. They rebuilt it using USGI SA Pars, Reciever, OP Rod, Bolt, Trigger Assembly are all SA. The Bbl. is a Criterion that they used, also they used a new Stock and remarked it with the the correct markings, the Leather Sling is not included because I had that custom made with my name on it. Asking $1500 or OBO CASH. I live in the Whitehouse area but can meet locally around Goodlettsville, Hendersonville, Gallatin, and Nashville area, I can drive a little way to meet and make a deal, this one dosen't have the CMP Case, the older gentleman I bought it from his wife cleaned out the basement and garage and tossed it away when he was in the hospital I've bought several guns from him over the years. This is a nice one I don't think he ever fired it. Please PM me any questions.

Carl Zeiss Conquest MC 4.5x14-50mm Target. Target turrets, #20 Z-Plex Duplex. Used scope with box & paperwork. '1 click = 1/4 Inch / 100 yards'. Exterior: Very Nice, not new with some small marks, most noticeable on parallax knob (by blue Zeiss label). Some faint ring marks (more like a shading, not a scratch or gouge) primarily on bottom. Glass : Very nice after thorough cleaning. Not "new / pristine" with some small marks, but not distracting. I know glass quality is very subjective and clearly I'm no glass expert (or professional picture taker). I had for sale on another forum, but it's hard to show lens and I would prefer face to face so you can see. I'm asking $500 in middle TN (Nolensville Cool Springs etc.) If you have any questions or need additional pictures just let me know. Tim

Everyone on this site knows the details about this weapon. Solid, minor scratching, not a display piece but for an early 1980s run weapon this weapon is in excellent condition. Has been treated with respect and would be a fantastic addition to someones collection.
