5 Cent Tax??

Recommended Posts

During lunch today, I was talking to a co-worker about reloading and he asked me if I knew about the new ammo tax coming in June. He claims the feds will start charging a 5 cent per bullet tax starting in June. I told him he was crazy (i try to keep up with such things and am not familiar with it). He was very adamament about it. Does anyone know anything about such a tax? I'm not trying to be an alarmist, but trying to stop a false rumor (i hope).

5 cents a round? I hope they don't want to collect "back taxes". I might owe a few bucks. B)

But do you have the primers to load them? :)

I can't believe all the shortages. I've been thinking about buying a Dillion 550B and getting back into reloading, but what good is it when you cannot get frick'n primers?

I can neither confirm nor deny that. :)

we already have a 10 cent a box tax right now, I dont see any others coming along... but who knows.

That 10 cent state tax is for now...As much as TN loves the taxes, don't think that someone's not thinking about how to raise it.

Heck, they're already talking about how to raise gas taxes! Like incrementing it yearly based on the consumer price index.
