71 is much too young!  RIP.

With all the steroids, I'm surprised he lasted this long.  Yet, he was an ultimate showman and always gave fans more than their money's worth.  He was also one of the top picks of the Make-A-Wish kids.

71 is too early for a normal person, but he put his body through a lot, and given his contemporaries, he had a lot more time than the odds may have predicted.

It's going to be a complicated legacy for him personally, and in some ways professionally.  But it's undeniable he was a cultural icon of Americana, and helped build up an industry from a regional sideshow into a national entertainment juggernaut.  You simply cannot tell the history of professional wrestling without a lot of discussion regarding Hulk Hogan the superstar.

Maybe his shoving off completes the latest rule of three…Ozzy, Theo Huxtable, Hulk Hogan.

Nope up to 5 so far for the week. Add Chuck Mangione and Connie Francis.
