Ditto on the H&R .22, just last week bought one for $60 mine is the short barrel, nickel plate. Have not had it to the range as of yet, but a heavy gun that holds 9 .22LR has to be worth a tank of gas...

I think they need larger grips. :tinfoil:

I've got an old Mexican Mauser in 7x57. I paid $25 for it. I sporterized, and mounted a weaver scope on it. It shoots pretty good, and I have about $40 in it all total. It is my rainy day deer rifle. I really like it, and at $40, it should qualify as cheap.

Mine has to be my HP 995 carbine for $225 plus an ATI Stock too. When I bought the rifle I also got a decent scope with it. That's the reason I paid what I paid. I also bought a Isaphore .308 enfield that has been sportarized. Got it for $85 several years ago.

I have a SEDCO .22 that jams and stovepipes all the time but it was one of my dads guns and when he died I kept it. Thats really the only reason I keep it still.

Hey back, dizzie...I don't know for sure but I've seen estimates of around $250 or so absolute tops.

You can get a brand new Charter Undercover for prolly around $350 that's rated for +p; I wouldn't shoot +p through these older models.
