That is so wrong. You would not believe the stories Soldiers tell me when they

come home. I hear it from all 9 Southern States. The NCOIC if the IG Office and I try to one up each other every day on the best story.

Item description:

Make: Springfield Armory Model: XD-40 Caliber: 40SW This gun was purchased Nov.2009(brand new) by my husband without consulting me. It has only been fired the one time for it's test fire. I don't want any guns around my little ones and that's why I'm selling it.

Unfortunately I know a guy like that. He basically needs his wife's permission to spend some time on his hobby. And she almost always feels the need to tag along, even though his hobby doesn't interest her in the slightest. Hell, if she does something to upset him, he won't even share his feelings out of fear that she will pout for the next month.

Isn't that a federal offense?

Honestly, it probably is. She is selling something that evidently does not have her name on the bill of sale, the background check, etc.. Then again, can you see this dude pressing charges? Ha! I sure wouldn't buy the thing purely out of principal. That's just -ty.

I figure you could just point it out to gunbroker and have them take the ad down.

Perhaps we should all contact here to tell her she's a conniving piece of

If I were registered there I would.

Not gonna register just for that though.

BTW... Y'all reckon the husband even knows she's selling it? He may be in the military and deployed, for all we know.

( And if he is, I see a potential ass-kicking in her future. )

Somebody needs to sweet talk her and try to get the real story. I'm dying to know. Chances are good that the OP is right. The boy got no kajones.

I once heard about a woman who sold her husban's Corvette for a dollar cause she was divorcing him. I wonder if this woman would take a buck for it just to get the evil piece of metal away from her little ones. Than, if the guy doesn't know about it, sell it back to him for a "premium". (Evil laugh) JK. I'd sell it back for a buck and watch the fallout with the missus.
