Only they need ten billion more dollars to do it, which oddly enough wasn't in the bill. So it's not been 72 hours since the house passed it and it's already tacked on another ten billion.

CNSNews.com - IRS to Enforce Health Reform

Seriously, I am at a total loss as to the stupidity of this bill. They passed almost 2,000 pages of crap and they knew it. Just to get something done. It must really stink around The Hill with all these hogs eating like this.

Wait until the new "financial reform bill" gets rolling. They get to be into everything.

Oh my goodness.... I am scared to even think what this crap is going to ACTUALLY cost Mr and Mrs Taxpayer... I mean, they say $10 Billion now, but give it 6 months and they'll be asking for $5 Billion more because they blew the FIRST TEN BILLION DOLLARS on stupid  that doesn't even matter.... Ugh.... 2012... Please hurry and get here.

Your government at work. About like the letter I got a couple weeks ago from the Census folks telling me I was going to get a census form:screwy:

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to an electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The public can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president." unknown but right on.

Sounds like someone else we know all too well.

With immigration reform next on the agenda (amnesty/citizenship for possibly 30 million illegal aliens), the 2012 election and a permanent socialist government is already a done deal.

Afraid you're right. There are a lot of talking heads and thinkers pondering this mess right now. If they don't have the votes come 2012 they'll create a crisis to stop the elections. JMO,

If the election get stopped we will see violence. The Constitution requires it every 2 years. Two years and one day and the terms are null and void and we loose 1/3 of the Senate and the entire House. Effectivly ending our COnstitutional Govt.

The difference is that it will be the government taking it, not just a run of bad luck. It sounds like you have been delt a crappy hand a couple of times in life, but at least it is possible to recover. My family has been there and done that. However, in the future, with government control of finances and imposed tax penalties, you will not be able to recover. The basic ideas of the socialist boil down to that very point. They do not want you to recover; they want you to be dependent on the government for everything.

*packing my bags and moving to another country like Fiji*

Yeah, looks good there (not):

"On 10 April 2009 President Iloilo suspended the Constitution of Fiji, dismissed the Court of Appeal and, in his own words, "appoint[ed] [him]self as the Head of the State of Fiji under a new legal order".[19] As President, Iloilo had been Head of State prior to his abrogation of the Constitution, but that position had been determined by the Constitution itself. The "new legal order" did not depend on the Constitution, thus requiring a "reappointment" of the Head of State. "You will agree with me that this is the best way forward for our beloved Fiji", he said. Bainimarama was re-appointed as Interim Prime Minister; he, in turn, re-instated his previous Cabinet.

On 13 July 2009, Fiji became the first nation ever to be expelled from the Pacific Islands Forum, for its failure to hold democratic elections by that date.

On 1 September 2009, Fiji became only the second country to be suspended from the Commonwealth of Nations. The action was taken because Commodore Frank Bainimarama refused to hold elections by 2010, elections that the Commonwealth of Nations had demanded after the 2006 coup. He states a need for more time to end a voting system he claims favours ethnic Fijians. Critics claim that he has suspended the constitution and was responsible for human rights violations by arresting and detaining opponents."

Absolutely. IRS is about citizen control as much as money.

That's why the Fair Tax will never happen.

When a government agency has full access to seize/freeze/control any and every asset you have without court oversight, recourse, or constitutional authority - I don't see a difference.

:shhh::screwy::shhh: Don't say these things too loudly. There might be a revolt.

I and some others have been saying this for a while. I don't think we will sit around and let it happen, either. Some have just not reached the boiling point, yet. The IRS won't be the problem,

but they will just be a bigger headache.

Will elections be suspended or made irrelevant? Sure, look who's in charge of the census. Some bought into the idea of the bailouts. That was a transfer of ownership to the unions and the

government. Was it legal? No. Will it stand? Until we fight back.

First, at the ballot box, and when we see the irrelevance, the fight

begins.

These people have been working on this for years and think they have finally found a way to make us roll over and submit.

They have started a revolution against our society and until we wake up and see the damage, they are winning. Look inside

yourself and see if this is acceptable. I don't think it is for me.

If peaceful legal efforts don't work, get ready to take it a step

further, because you may only get one chance to get it right.

How many real tea parties do we have to not perform to see the

problem? Do you really like this stuff to be forced down our throats?

This is my opinion of the US Treasury Dept.

We have taxation without representation. How many unfunded federal laws do we have to put up with?

There's nothing wrong with some sort of health care reform. However all this BS being handed down to the state level with no funding source is just a chicken**** way of taxing us.

It's way past time boys...
