Shot Show News?

Is there already a thread on this? I was looking on gunblast for shot show pictures and I saw some fairly interesting things and a lot of ho-hum things.

1) DB9. Like the troublesome DB380 from Diamondback, except 9mm, 11 oz, and 500 bucks MSRP.

2) M&P 22. .22 pistol built like a 9mm M&P full size. Looks interesting

3) Chiappa Rhino. Finally got those out, except after owning a Chiappa 1911, I doubt I'll be picking one up.

4) "New" PM9? That's what Jeff called it. Dunno whats new about it.

5) Colt Mustang. They're bringing it back. Guess they're kicking themselves for selling the design to Sig.

The thing that caught my eye on the Gunblast SHOT report was the Taurus .22 Tracker that has a quick release crane making it convertible from .22 LR to .22 WMR. Looks to have a 9 shot cylinder. I think a DA convertible .22 would be a neat thing to have. I know that they have been made, before, but don't think I have ever seen one for sale and I imagine they would not be cheap if I did.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm always excited about new 22s.

And at the AAC booth, they displayed their new integrally suppressed 10/22 barrel. It's friggin awesome. It's a take apart design but looks like a standard bull barrel at first glance.

Yes...there were a ton of new products, but aside from the stuff targeted to L.E. the vast majority of it was somewhat gimmicky crap that appealed to adults who didn't get enough time playing with their G.I. Joe dolls when they where babies.

I kinda agree with you there. There was a few interesting things, but not much of anything that I didnt already know about or halfway expect. Everyone just seems to be jumping on the mini 9mm bandwagon. Whoopty-doo.
