Man kicked out of Stones River Mall for 'extremely distasteful' T-shirt

Recommended Posts

So it's automatically trespassing when someone's shirt says something you dont like? He was asked to remove the shirt. He didn't comply. If he left when he was asked to, there was no crime in what he did. I can't read anymore than what's posted in this thread (tapatalk), but what is posted here makes me think the charges are bs Bionic Post

No.  It's trespassing when they ask you to leave and you don't.

Your right the charges may not stick but he's out money for a bondsman, attorney, probably missed work and will miss more.

Well, I think they will stick.

I'm not going to feel sorry for this guy; not because he's an anti-gun nut but because I don't generally feel sorry for morons whether they are pro-guns or anti-guns.

As for the potential cost of a bondsman and an  attorney and missed work...all that is truly unfortunate if one is innocent and did absolutely nothing wrong.  On the other hand, if you can't afford to pay your own bond (and need to use a bondsman) or can't really afford an attorney or to miss work then maybe you shouldn't illegally operate a motor vehicle to drive to a mall, then cause a disturbance by wearing a t-shirt he knew would be offensive (and intended it to be) and then compound all that by refusing to leave when properly demanded he do so.

He's a moron.

There are ways to demonstrate your opinion about issues....his chosen method is NOT one of them, at least not one of them protected by the Constitution.
