Where are my cigar smokers?

Sounds like, so far, no one is a somewhat patron of a local cigar shop?

I highly recommend Big Star Cigar in Mount Juliet.  The guys in there are super nice and have an awesome humidor with a fine selection of hand rolled sticks.  I'm an occasional smoker, and like most others, my wife hates the smell so I smoke at their shop to keep the peace.  As far as favorites, the Torano and Elogio sticks are probably my first picks.

Sheesh! I go away for a couple minutes and BAM 4 responses. Quite an active board you got going here! Sitting on the back porch, stocking cap, small heater on as it close to 60 degrees today. I have a humi(or two) pretty full so just grabbed something. It's a Torano Exodus 1959(the black band). Getting ready to fire up a cigar that I got at the trade show this past August. Has a plain, white band on it that says "RP Private Reserve" on it. Rocky Patel, I suspect?! Don't know if this blend made it into their regular line?

Ha!  I don't smoke at all, though I do enjoy the smell of mild pipe tobacco.

I just thought it was humorous that you're wearing a stocking cap and have a small heater when it's close to 60 degrees.  I have a couple friends from FL, so I understand.  But it's still funny.

It was about 50 degrees here today, and I wore a T-shirt.

Welcome to the forum.  Hope your visit is pleasant.

Like Runningfree, I'm a fan of CAO, and especially the La Traviata. I also like an Arturo Fuente Churchill now and then. During finals season I go to the cigar shop (which has free wifi) with a couple twenties in my pocket. I buy a stick, fire it up, and before I know it I've been studying for two solid hours. Great way to mix business and pleasure.

I wish I had a place to smoke, or at least a nice place to go. I usually just go for a drive and a smoke.

There is a cigar shop over near West Town Mall called Smokey's that has a back room for folks with a membership. I know someone from work who is a member, and he says they have a nice lounge with beer and big screens playing whatever sports channel you want. I don't know the cost of the membership. I've been in the store part and it is quite nice.

I think there is a similar store in Farragut too.

Daily Smoke: Tatuaje Noellas(rolled in Miami)

My Local B&M: Belle Meade Cigar & Gifts(Great guys!)

I love full-bodied, full-flavored cigars and lately the La Flor Dominicana Colorado Oscuro, Illusione ~ultra~ MKULTRA(black label) and Liga Privada T52(impossible to find!) are favorites. I have grown quite accustom to the bolder flavor profiles of Nicaraguan and some Dominican tobaccos and I feel there are cigars coming from those countries that are as good or better than anything from Cuba. That said, I travel quite a bit and I have found a few boxes of Cubans in my luggage. Partagas Serie D No.4 and Bolivar Royal Coronas are always good times.

Yeah I know of Smokeys, but I don't want to pay $200 for a membership. :) It is a nice shop, but not in my budget. The only shop in Farragut I know of is Silo Cigars. It's a small shop and usually pretty dead when I go in. Not a very big smoking area either.

What kind of humidor is everyone using? I've got a couple small desktops and have been looking to upgrade to something larger. I had a "Coolerdor" at one point but took up too much space.
