Police Shooting Full Auto

Recommended Posts

If they have the weapons, they need to play with em regularly.  Full auto is dangerous for someone to grab and go without training.   The recoil on some guns can cause you to make some terrible mistakes if not prepared for it, and some untrained folks panic and death grip the trigger while being out of control or injured, which is a very bad combination.

More power to him, as long as I am not having to pay for his ammo for his "fun" time shooting. I can barely afford to shoot my own at semi auto rates of fire. LOL

lol, very true; would be a very short day at the range if i went full auto

What is the problem?

I have ZERO issue with LE shooting full auto. I would rather them be shooting and get familiar than only shooting once or twice a year and only on semi auto.

No problem at all, the news people seem to have a problem, If I had the opportunity to use someone else's MG's I would luv to, buying and feeding them is killing my retirement plans..

Not to sure now many times regular PD get to shoot FA, the range I go to locally, I see the same LE at lease every other time I'm there and he's always shooting FA.

The AK and the post sample Glock probably has no business in the PD other than cool factor..

He didn't appear to be on duty so I don't think he was using rounds that were paid for by taxpayers. It didn't look like what he was doing had any training value but if he wants to burn his own ammo out of his own legal weapons on his own time, I see no problem. Provided, of course, that he is abiding by all the same law that the rest of the STATE must abide by.

I see nothing about those being departmental weapons. So what's the problem with a citizen enjoying some good 2nd Ammendment time? People are all butt hurt up there because he is trash talking the libs on his own private time and they want it to be considered by a gov official and want him disciplined. Edited by Pain103

I didnt see anything illegal in the video. I also didnt see anything he did that would call for his firing. But considering a cop was fired a few days ago for wearing a Halloween mask standing next to a porn star (Which also isnt illegal), wouldnt surprise me if his career isnt over.

Apparently there are a few videos of him, for whatever reason the video wont load for me in the link so I dont know which video you guys watched but I googled the title and pulled up one of him talking shizz about Kerry and the UN over the UN arms treaty and goes on to tear up a paper to which is supposed to represent the arms treaty and yells "come and take it mother f-ers) before going full auto. Im sure it has a lot more to do with the hostile tone towards Kerry and the UN than him firing a MG thats getting all the attention. I have to admit hes cool in my book though.

I wouldn't care if he was shooting an illegal FA. The notion that FA should be illegal unless the fed gov approves is stupid. I feel the same way about folks who break NFA laws as I do about someone paying for sex or smoking dope.... doesn't hurt me, I don't care.
