Knoxville Gun Show - Thanksgiving weekend

Recommended Posts

Went by and saw David As soon as the show opened and picked up 2K of Armscor 124 grn. 9mm. and 1K of Armscor 230 grn. 45 ACP projectiles. It was no fun walking down all those steps with all that weight on my shoulder , I was wore out when I got back to the car.

There are two other reloading dealers there but they can't/won't beat David's prices. One is always at the Chattanooga shows and I avoid them like the plauge.

I walked the show afterwards but didn't see anything a I really needed/wanted as David had 2/3 of the money I brought with me. 22 is still sky high. Winchester M22 1000 rnd bulk for $135.00. My wife picked me one up at WW last week for $54.15 OTD and Federal 550 bulk was $75.00

I like to go, but I don't need anything.  Let me see 90 mile round trip, $20 in diesel, gate fee ~$10, less $2 coupon, $8 drive through meal, $36, and buy nothing, guess not this time!

I hear you. It's 150 mile round trip for me. I'd love to go, but from what I've been hearing from others over the past year most guys are only looking for AR's (& parts) & ammo. Nothing against them, but I'm just not into ARs & I miss going to shows & actually being able to browse, buy/sell/trade pistols & hunting rifles. My dad & I both have pistols we'd like to do some trading on, but it doesn't sound like it's going to be worth the drive & expense this time. Maybe next time.

The last couple at the expo were all used clothes / army surplus and $1 back scratchers LoL .

Not seen a good show in years on the east side of Tn . Chattanooga and Cleveland shows should

pay us to show up ............ Same thing , go in with cash and looking to buy and nothing ! or

of course a couple of dealers wanting $200 more on a gun than it is at the local store back home .

I enjoyed the show today. I bought nothing for myself but got to spend a little time with David and got to visit with Dolomite, Sour Kraut and Garufa. Also got to meet MacGyver and Spots for the first time. Great seeing all of you.

It was good seeing everyone today. Thanks for stopping by MK. Also good seeing Dolomite and Sour Kraut, Garufa, David, BJB, Macgyver, and Reaper even stopped by and dropped off a rifle. Also good seeing GoneBlstic yesterday. I'm glad you all came by, cause this show has been very slow and tedious

Tapatalk ate my spelling.

I think I may mosey on over today on the last day. Never been to one before. Are these a cash only deal or do they take other forms of payment?

Depends on the dealer. Dealers with normal businesses usually take cards, smaller and private deals are cash. I'd take cash for the entrance fee
