  3. Got the Forester trimmer cutter yesterday. It's for the classic model. The shaft of the old one measures .489, this one is .551 or 14mm. Looks like I get 2 14mm drill bits from amazon for $17. Hope my drill press centers well. Wish I had a lathe. I've got lots of different colored, different brands of short brass 12 ga hulls if anyone wants some for shipping only.
  4. Safety Reminder for Buyers and Sellers This is an automatic reply meant to protect you as a buyer and a seller on TGO. Use the Buyer/Seller Feedback feature to research who you are dealing with. Please come back and leave feedback for each other after the transaction is complete. Your experience will help others. Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun! None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction. They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns. DON'T DO IT. Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO. Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye. The complete Trading Post Rules and also some more helpful suggestions can be found by clicking this link. Everyone should read them at least once! ~~~ This was an automatic reply ~~~

  10. I have available a very nice Archon Type B Gen 1 with night sights, 4 magazines, factory box and soft case. Pistol show no wear and is LNIB. Looking for 750 cash or really wanting to trade towards a Ruger Mini-14. Can add cash for the right deal.
  11. I stated the 9 MM was better than a 380. To me force figures (Double 9MM over 380) act for shock values. I am not aware of any 380 or 9 MM that will deliver but a minimal amount shock value on a nervous system. The 9 MM has a 25 grain heavier bullet difference, and most likely, if the 380 was shot in a 4" brl, it would raise the FPS on the 380 to be more in line with the 9MM; however still not as high. Saying this, I still know 9 MM is better, but the 380 put in the right place just "MAY" be adequate for a get off me pistol. I am carrying the Bodyguard 380 as backup to the 357. In a given situation, one may be forced into, one may not even have time to draw a backup pistol, but it gives me a measure of comfort to have a New York Reload on board in what I consider a very vulnerable situation, (IE, Fuling up in unknown public places), monkylizard. I may be a little over reactive as I was confronted in a fuel stop in Montgomery Alabama a few years back and I was basically helpless in front of a dunk man of color with the grip of a snubbie sticking out of the dudes pocket. I was outside of my vehicle and my revolver was under the seat. That is why I started carrying on a regular basis. I lost some money but left unharmed. That was not a good feeling for me. Even today I will gladly lose money rather than escalate the same sort of confrontation but also know things can go sideways sometimes. Is that not why many/we all carry? Those possible crossway situations!
