2016-17 Dan Wesson Valor Commander in 9mm. Has trijicon HD sights and Harrison Custom grips It was stainless but had it cerakoted by the crew at BAM Customs in Murfreesboro. If you know 1911's, DW makes the best production options out there. The Valor commanders were rare, even smaller batches in 9mm. Savage Arms Stevens 512 Gold Wing over/under 12 Gauge shotgun features a Turkish Walnut pistol grip stock with fleur de lis checkering. The 28” barrels are blued with even and deep coloration. The vented rib along the top of the barrel features a mid bead and front bead of brass. The trigger is gold plated and the side plates of the receiver have gold colored inlays of a pheasant. I agree and can only add trigger reach for my smaller hands. I don't like striker fired and I am not fond of polymer frames though I am working with a double stack DA/SA poly framed trying to get familiar enough with it to be comfortable carrying it. Until I do, 1911 will suit me fine.
