This a a rare bird. Very hard to come by. 1952 Colt lightweight Commander 1911 in 38 Super caliber. It shows a little minor wear, but is in outstanding condition to be 73 years old. Comes with one Colt factory magazine. I hate to sell it, but I haven't shot it in years and I find its time to thin the herd a bit. $2500 I'm not really interested in trades, but I will look at offers. I'm afraid I'm not much of a photographer.

I have an RWS Diana air rifle built in July 86'. I got this with rust forming on some areas on the outside of the barrel. Removed the rust and reblued those areas. Has differences in tone in those spots. Cosmetically those are the only issues. Functionally speaking... the germans really know what theyre doing. its almost 40 years old but still hits hard and is consistently accurate with each shot. This was also another one that I outfitted with a last ditch kit spot in the butt end of the stock. Id like $250 for the gun and kit, and some pointed, and some supersonic pellets.

I find discontinuing the 49 interesting, because A) it just came out, with little fanfare and B) to me it makes sense logistically to have the 17 and 19 size frames to be interchangeable from an economies of scale point of view. Buy a 47 and a 19, and you would be able to instantly have 45 and a 49 configurations as well
