I want to make clear that I am not 100% comfortable taking a shower with a guy I 100% know to be gay. I would feel uncomfortable. I would also get the **** over it. I think if we are going to have a policy it should be that no one says which sexuality they are. I have a problem with otherwise qualified individuals being kicked out because someone outed them. We have standards of conduct and behavior that could easily be enforced to limit someone wanting to just flaunt that they are gay vs someone just wanting to serve.

Thank you for saying this before I did. It has seemed to me that it is the "old soldiers" and the older people in general that are adamantly against this. The new soldiers coming in and the younger ones do not care. This also mirrors civilian life. I wonder what people said when they started the first black units. Then when they integrated them. What about letting women in? Integrating them as well. This is just one more step. I have been in since 2001. I have known several soldiers that I believed to be as gay as anyone in San Francisco. Not a one tried to even come on to me. They are there to do a job. I have had to take sworn statements from women after they have been sexually harassed and assaulted by heterosexuals though.

"Openly" gay people in the military bothers me no more than the not open gays that are already here. I shower with other people while in the army rarely. At schools it generally happens but outside of that no. I see more naked guys walking through the locker room at my local YMCA. The shower excuse is just that, an excuse for bigotry.

I sat at the First prestige forever. I just didn't see any reason to prestige. I have only recently prestiged again and I just haven't played a lot since. Jeremy wont prestige at all and is still sitting at regular 70. He is above the peer pressure it seems.

Funny you should say that. We were eating there in the "garage" area behind the bar one night. My wife was sitting across from me. I had my right side beside the wall and she was across and in the outside seat. Her eyesight isnt the greatest and it wasn't really lit well but she clearly saw a smallish brown roach crawling out of a crack at a switch just over and to the side of my head. We told the waitress. I continued to eat but the little guy just went back into the crack and sat there where I could see him so we haven't been back. We did eat there once every two or three of weeks though. We jokingly call that one Logan's Roachhouse.

What about any other game when you were killing the american team? It is a video game guys. If you feel this way I won't say you are wrong but I do not. I have played both sides and played both betas which had the taliban name. When playing that team and I did not feel I was killing an american at any time. I was playing against the OPFOR.

I wonder how long that has been.... I am from Knoxville originally even though I havent lived there going on 10 years. I used to spend a fair bit of time in some type of traffic issue and was specifically told they did not have no contest.
