  1. I was at the Grand opening.....what a great event. Even enjoyed the speeches. Uncle Si with Duck Dynasty gave the invocation. Maryville PD color guard did the honors and National Anthem. Lt. Gov Randy McNally and Rep. Sexton presented as well. Rep Burchett led the pledge. Overall a great event. Multiple vendors were there with good discounts. Many food vendors. Country Music stars and shooting demos. Shot 6 different S&W firearms in their indoor range. Quite an event.
  2. You'll be happy with either one. If I could only have one gun, it would be the M&P 45.
  3. If you have "the card" and it says handgun carry permit, looks like your driver's license, then you are good to go. I recommend you do your renewal in '26 and I believe the cost is $50 and can do it online/mail.
  4. If you didn’t take the 8 hr course, you don’t have what Nebraska honors.
  5. Most all of these questions start with the DA. It is his initial opinion that counts.
  6. Not guilty verdict will lead ( or should) invalidate the discharge case. At least that’s the way in works in TN by statute.
  7. There is at least one well Known trainer that does not allow 320 s in his class unless it has gone through recall.
  8. In general shotguns are not drop safe. There is no sear block. That is why they are carried in car or stored cruiser ready.
  9. Yes, past 2 days they have been absent. Expect the main push is over-will be a few stragglers.
  10. Private schools can also establish their own policies. Public and private schools are school property at all times...in session or not.
  11. Good show with respected instructors and shooters. We are fortunate to have Randy available in our backyard for quality instruction. Also That Weems Guy hosts a really good podcast.

Been looking at the Holosun PID......any feedback
  14. ML, glad you referenced the AG opinion. My understanding is as you have explained in the stated situations.
  15. Can't legally carry on school grounds....state and federal law. Weapon can be in auto, out of sight.
  16. As I said earlier, signs have the force of law, pay attention to them. Monkeylizard noted that Federal Bldgs are generally a no go. One has to read the laws. USCCA has a pretty good synopsis. Different for those with permits vs. Permitless carry. Take a class and/or do your research. This ain't CA.
  17. if you have a permit, pay attention to the legal posting referred to by peejman. Additionally, cannot carry on school grounds or any area that a school event is held, park or otherwise. Jails, courthouse, post office. that takes care of most places.
  18. The Enhanced class is 8 hrs, and will cover all the things you think you don't need....and you have to pass a written test.
  19. See Joe at Wood Bros. out in Halls. I've can vouch for his work on stocks.
  20. paid around $1000 out the door for my darkside......local dealer. Only one they had
  21. simply watch some you tube reviews
  22. longevity...resistance to show wear. Otherwise, beauty is in the eye of the beholder
  23. I have the dark side- really like it. Good heft which really aids double taps. So far super reliable. Will probably make my game M&Ps spend more time in the safe
