  1. I really like my eotech exps2-0...ordered it from primary arms and got a free 3x magnifier with it.
  2. sounds like a good time....i've shot one zombie match in Dickson. When I have more free time I definitely wouldn't mind shooting matches on a regular basis.
  3. This must be more dangerous than the infamous AR-47 and AK-15 I've been reading about on MSNBC :screwy:
  4. I ordered from Midway and Primary Arms on Friday and both shipped the same day. I have noticed some midway items expected stock date are CRAZY!
  5. I've been using desantis....has worked great for me...
  6. I've taken two handgun classes at the Range Inc. in Hickman County. Was a good way to throw 500 rounds down range. Would like to take their shotgun and rifle course at some point.
  7.   I've had the same experience. Bought a few guns off of gallery and never had a problem. I usually just pick the lowest price on their list of local dealers and then go pick it up when it's shipped.
  8. It may be time to apply at papa johns...i hear they are anti-obama
  9. He needs to go back to Britain and judge some more talent competitions....not stay in America and 'report' and commentate on what they call 'news'
  10. better go get bread, milk, and prescriptions!  :panic:
  11.   Well I guess that's a good thing....MORE JOBS! :panic:
  12. I REALLY like my nano. I was in the market for a little 'pocket' 9mm and first bought a keltec pf9. Had nothing but trouble out of it so I traded it in and bought a Ruger LC9. The LC9 was 100% reliable and used it for a car gun and pocket gun for 6 months or so. The ONLY reason I traded the LC9 for the nano was the trigger pull. The LC9 trigger pull is CRAZY long for my taste. After all of this I finally ended up with the Nano.   In my experience with those 3 guns, I definitely think the nano feels the most 'solid'. Probably has the best fit and finish of these guns. Another reason I like the nano is the trigger. It is a LOT shorter than the LC9 and feels more 'glockish' to me (I mainly carry a glock 26). Recoil is not bad at all with the gun. Easily controllable to say the least. The nano is a little blockier than say the LC9, but I can still easily put it in my pocket or wear it in a belt holster.    The sights on the nano are good too. I just got a set of the night sights from beretta and like both the day time sight picture and night time sight picture.   The flush mags are great for pocket carry. I just got 3 of the extended mags and they make the gun feel like a legitimate option as a gun more suited for a belt holster. Definitely worth the purchase price in my opinion. Two guns that are kind of in the same category that I have no experience with are the S&W Shield and the small Kahr pistols. People seem to like those too.
  13. TDOT, (or whoever posts on the electronic signs over the interstate), so kindly informed me today we have reached 1,000 traffic fatalities in TN for 2012. According to TN department of safety that is 70 more deaths YTD than last year.   When are we going to start banning and placing more restrictions on vehicles and drivers to SAVE lives! :panic:   ...but seriously, you might want to wear your seatbelt!
  14. those are some good looking guns!
  15. Just go to another gun shop and try to by the same gun....this has worked for me on the same day I was denied
  16.   ditto on the steel targets...i got a hostage swinger plate and an IPSC torso from action target...can't wait to shoot them
  17. I switched to the Beretta Nano after having a Ruger LC9....the LC9 trigger pull is WAY to long for my taste.   The nano trigger feels a little more 'glockish' to me which is something I like.
  18. The extra ammo is really nice, but I have to say the 18.5" is MUCH easier for me to maneuver around. My dad tried talking me into the 18.5" when I bought mine for that reason and of course I didn't listen. He still gives me a hard time about it to this day. If I can find one available I may have to break down and purchase the 18.5" SOON!   Sounds like you had good success with shooting the slugs, but how did you like the bead sight? Any idea how far out you think you could connect with slugs using just the bead?
  19. Another day in the pharmacy....
  20. I won't buy from them again. By the time you pay shipping from CTD you could just support the local gun shop for about the same price.
  21. Great looking gun! I have a 590A1 with a 20" barrel with ghost ring sights. That gun will probably last lifetimes.   I still regret not going with the 18.5" barrel.
