  1. I let mine expire... will be getting another one later this year.
  2. Can't answer the Taurus magazine question, but I did at one time own a 9mm Storm. I loved shooting it, until after about 1000rd several small parts fatigued (ejector, extractor, magazine catch), rendering it a semi-ejecting single-shot rifle. The internals (hammer, sear, etc) are made out of plastic... to me, that's ridiculous. It was very accurate though, with just a red-dot I could consistently hit a 12" steel plate at 200yd. If it weren't for the reliability issues, I would love to have one for home defense... it was far more user friendly and ergonomic than the Kel-tec and High-point carbines I've fired.
  3. Pond scum eh... shouldn't have let the president go swimming. But, until the 2012 election, this site might help: Battling Pond Scum
  4. Yes bigger is better... but skill and technique can make up for some deficiency in 'caliber'.
  5. Hmmm, who to believe... Israel, or the UN and a bunch of rabid activists? Not a hard choice from where I'm standing.
  6. I think the point was that the waiters were stiffing us, without fully understanding the consequences. But yes, it doesn't make any more sense to punish all servers because some of them are dumb and naive than it does to punish all gun owners because some criminals own guns.
  7. Worn a thigh rig a few times... had it in the tail compartment a few others. The shoulder rig idea wouldn't be bad, but overall I'd advise against attaching anything to yourself in a place that would be bad to have mashed into you.
  8. I looked at a few pictures on google and it looks pretty close, just not ornate or anything. I don't know who made it, there are no markings and the grip is just wrapped 550 cord. I doubt it's stainless, the edge developed surface rust quick when it was used on the damp brush... plus it's rather flexible. Thanks for the knowledge.
  9. Actor: Robert DeNiro / Liam Neeson / Viggo Mortensen Actress: Lena Headey / Uma Thurman / Cate Blanchett
  10. The second one... "Fine! Fine! I'll run to the store for some Tampax!!!"
  11. Not really sure what it's called... It's very plain, straight blade coated black, surprisingly light, very sharp (I can't get it to dull for anything, used it to clear brush once), very strong (used it to pry a couple boards apart). It looks alot like a tanto-tipped fixed blade, just alot longer. It's very functional (ie, not 'pretty' or tacticool, except for being black), I just liked the balance when I picked it up, figured it would work for chopping zombies heads off, in a pinch...
  12. Arrest more illegal aliens... 2 birds with one stone.
  13. If I had to use what I already have and would feel comfortable using... Slingshot + ball bearings Louisville Slugger 26" Tanto fixed blade 'knife' (yeah it's a sword)
  14. That's one way to look at it... I guess my point of view is that humans, as a race, declared independance from God when we took on the "knowledge of good and evil". With the freedom to make choices, independantly and collectively over so many generations, comes the responsibility for why the majority of things go wrong, or at least the consequence of being unconditionally protected from them by an omnipotent higher being... that doesn't mean to say everyone deserves or caused the bad things that happen to them. It's simply a result of the culture, the randomness of 5+ Billion individuals' actions, and the hazardous universe that we insignificant, frail beings scrape out our existence in. Action & consequence, even when the action wasn't our own. Life isn't fair. If anything life is a lesson in how imperfect we are, so that we can appreciate perfection when we see it. The other difference is that the government wants us to need them, for their own satisfaction and career... whereas God wants us to need him out of love (much like a father wants his kids to need him... while sacrificing for them, and painfully watching them make their mistakes)... no 'tribute' is required other than love in return.
  15. I really don't know Mike. But I believe that nobody can know that a situation won't get better if you keep moving and hope to leave the worst behind... So I can't see a reason to give up, and it's only more than you can take if you give up. Don't give up.
  16. Howabout use their list? Companies Incorporated in Arizona | Arizona Boycott
  17. I have collected several... but always obey all Federal, State and local laws to a 'T', without question.
  18. Another excellent suggestion... my dad has one, it is a very sweet shooter.
  19. An employer policy isn't law, so it won't make you a criminal (unless you work at a school, possibly)... but considering the penalty is losing your job, potentially, that's at least a good reason to make sure they never have a reason to search your car. I would take an employer's demand to search my vehicle as a sign they were looking for a reason to get rid of me anyways... just a thought.
  20. I get request timeouts to this site often... I always have to navigate away then come back. Happens most frequently when submitting a new post.
  21. Reports of Mullah Omar capture sweep US - US - World - The Times of India ...Hillary steps in poo, exposing her incompetence yet again.
  22. CPO SIG pistols are actually very affordable. A P228 would be a good bet, can be found in the $400s. Or a P225 in the $300s... Either will shoot circles around anything else in the price range, last forever, and be a reasonable size to carry...
  23. Both... 2 reasons: 1) A redundant source of light is a must, for when Murphy's law kicks in. I might not need it, but if I do I'll need it bad. 2) I don't want to shoot everything I illuminate, but I want to illuminated everything I shoot. The handheld takes care of the first, and the mounted takes care of the second...
  24. If you shoot alot of lead, sure... that's the only way to justify the cost (unless you simply just want the Bar-Sto barrel). It might be a little more accurate, as well.
  25. You do make an excellent point sir.
