Dolomite
Agree, if you don't address the person and they are up to no good the likely hood they become more embolden in their actions will be at that point.

Imagine the price a carbine would fetch right now!! With all the Kel tecs going at 120% over. A simple polymer Glock carbine could sell for 2k.
There are a llot of pro-2A folks out there that voted for hussein with the belief that he would not go after guns. Now that speculation is gone as he has revealed his hand, and hopefully those people have realized the consequence of the last election. With any luck, these sheep have had their eyes opened. Also, if as many people that are buying guns/ammo will contact their reps, that has to send a strong message. I agree that Hussein does not care about that message but those up for re-election in 2014 might.
+1 this entire thing is a message to the sheeple, wake up before your rights and our country is completely gone.
It is possible something shady is going on. However, I have read several forums regarding this matter and several people have opined that Walmart is no longer in a position to bully distributors on what they are willing to pay for ammo due to the unprecedented demand. The price of ammo is at a premium right now and as soon as it hits the shelf anywhere it sells. Why would a distributor still sell ammo to Walmart so cheap when they can easily get a premium and sell everything they have. I don't know what Walmart's reasoning is, but I can state that Walmart does bully the $hit out of it's suppliers.
I've always heard Wallyworld did try to use that stance since they had so many stores.

Haahaaa, I'm clear on this and agree.
This thread really is not anything more than a place for me to post a pic of my first 80% AR15 build, I am pretty excited about it. I think it turned out pretty good even if I do say so myself. I hope you guys will comment and /or make suggestions. Also I hope some of you guys that have done 80% builds also will share pictures and even pros and cons about doing a 80% build. I personally am happy enough with the way this turned out I actually have 5 more 80% lowers coming already! 4-AR15s and 1-AR10 for a few future builds. I hope to hear from you guys on this, Joe
Looks like some fine work you did - congrats on the build
Aside from the five "new" Glocks, it appears Glock has applied a bid on a carbine system for the Army... I don't know how I missed this one but Day by Day Armageddon: Shattered Hourglass by J.L. Bourne released the day after Christmas. I just stumbled across it on iTunes and downloaded it. I think by far this is the best Zombie book series going and hopefully will be as good as the first two were. Anyway here is the excerpt and link to it on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Day-Armageddon-Shattered-Hourglass/dp/1451628811

Excellent platform, I prefer the M4 11707 but when I talked to a rep the other day he told me on M4s they were behind by 22,000. That is more than they make in a production year, he then said the M2 will be next.

No clue about Mohawk. However, yes you can purchase a milspec buffer tube and install it and your Magpul milspec stock will fit fine. Just don't lose your buffer detent spring and pin when removing.

I'm sure the number is decreasing with the current political climate. -
Mine is a Gen 4, I prefer the aggressive stippling. I'm like that on all my weapons though .45s, Sigs etc, I like the firm purchase. The Gen 3 just feels like its going to slip out of my hand. Also if its the same price the gen 4 comes with an additional magazine.
