1. I've used it for everything and haven't had any ill side affects.
2. For the uppers I have the Geissele Reaction Rod, works great.
3. Tim Calhoun perhaps?  I haven't seen him around for a while but I always hear good things about him.
4. Tandy Leather is where I get mine.  If you go to the one in Nashville ask for a guy named Keven Sutton (pronounced "key-ven"), very knowledgeable.
5. This looks great for my Uzi in the briefcase.  I was thinking about using workshop floor mats but this looks even better.
6. I've been working on a couple of new projects recently. First one is a pocket sleeve and tie down for a spare pistol magazine. This one went to a neighbor of mine who wanted a way to carry a spare magazine but keep the lint out. I added the tie down to snap over the belt so that the magazine can be removed from the pouch one handed. 7. Why I carry a medical kit when guns are involved.
8. Sent you a PM.
9. I had seen them before but hadn't heard anything about them.
10. I should consult you as the Oracle on any gun questions, lol.
11. How do you like the Arisaka mount?
12. They're mainly for covering up a 16" barrel on a non-sbr.
13. 14. LOL. You know the area well it seems. Funny part is you're 100% correct about that. I have a pretty funny story regarding my speeding one day and the local cop.
15. In boarding school a friend of mine's dad put a tracker on his car and we ended up finding it. Not a good discussion to have with your kid. I would say in your case that it's a good idea and don't blame you in your case. Phone and car would probably be good, but only mention one.
16. In my case it helps force my thumb into the bend to flip it back to safe.  I am thinking about making another with a bend in the opposite direction, more like the FAL selector.
17. Was talking to another member today and got on the topic of AR-15 safeties. I realized during the discussion that I've never really been a huge fan of the standard style, and thought maybe I should try making my own style. So I did, and this was the result. Still needs a good bit of tweaking but it doesn't interfere with anything, it's really comfortable, and easy to manipulate. Thoughts or ideas welcome. Bad pictures, my bad. 18. Reckless and irresponsible.
19. Probably a Khan shotgun, over under.  If you took the barrels off you had to slam the ejectors on a table to get them to close so that you could put the barrel back on the receiver.  Kicked like a damn mule too.  Many black shoulders were made by that gun.
20. Wasn't there, don't know full story, but I'm commenting anyway. To me it seems more reckless to jump in the back of the truck and shoot the driver than to let him continue on while you call backup.
21. I can walk you through how I removed rivets on mine after messing up on one or two. From the picture everything else looks good. So are you just wanting to remove the rivets and put new ones in?
22. I'll have to take a picture of the full action and barrel tomorrow. Just looking to get it into a stock and put optics on it for hunting use.
23. DDI is a locally company and I've been hearing really good things about them
24. I second what Ugly said, a big thanks to Spots and father for some excellent training.
