There really is some trial and error in finding the right pants. Most of my jeans are good to go except for the sole pair of Levis due to the laughably small pockets. Cargo pants work well, obviously, and it seems my normal dress slacks are acceptable. Using one I made for it, nothing fancy. I will say though that I put the Streamlight TLR6 on mine and that really helps break up the outline to more of a rectangle shape.

Guess I'm in the minority here on the 43, I really like mine. I bought it to replace my Double Tap for pocket carry and it has filled that role perfectly, shoots well too.

I understand where you are coming from, but I would respectfully disagree about it. There isn't anyway just plopping the NRA membership into the terrorist watchlist would pass muster, not in my mind at least.

If you already have the light I would say mount it off to the side, not in front of the front sight so you keep what sight radius you have. If you don't have the light you could go with the above, Surefire, or one of the Inforce lights.

I like both? My recently finished AK is my current trunk monkey but it will be swapped for an ar sooner or later. I did just get a RPK parts kit in to begin the evening of my AR to AK ratio, however.

I'm a big fan of the Sog multitools. I've carried Powerlock EOD in place of my Leatherman for the past 6-7 years and it's been fantastic.

Check with Academy, they usually have a pretty good supply under their "Monarch" brand.

It is free hand, but I cheat on occasion and use a straight edge so the barrel or whatever looks straight. I suppose you could say that. Out of all the rifles I own I only have two that have scopes, both being .22 rifles. The other gun with any form of optics is my AR. I've never correlated the two thoughts together though.
