  1. Well, change it back. It's awful.
  2. About that Cabela's 9mm: Looks like they're sold out of the 115 gr and are now selling 124 gr. Was kinda hoping the 124 gr would pop up to help my decision.

  4. I need to know this as well. Can't find it either, lol.
  5. They opened several months ago in the old Walmart up there in Halls. Haven't been there either or Tractor Supply for that matter but I reckon it is like TS except they sell guns & ammo. Their online gun site (rkguns.com) will ship directly to the store.
  6. Rural King will have 10% off all firearms & ammo in stock Thurs-Sat. Here's where it gets good: they will have Remington UMC 9mm (115 gr) on sale for $10.39/50 rounds. Remington is offering a $5 rebate per ANY 50 round box of UMC bought Thurs-Sun. If you don't mind waiting for the rebate check that ends up being $5.39/box for the 9mm.
  7. Not so sure it would even require a 4473. It's pre-1898, technically not even a gun. They could mail it to your door.
  8. Only in America can a rifle designed to be built by peasants for peasants start at $700.
  9. I have met many very fine people from this forum that I consider friends. Jack is one of them. Hate to hear his conditon has progressed to this point and am sorry that my visits to Memphis the past couple of years have not allowed time for socializing but the several times we got to hang out and other conversations we've had were good times...and memorable. Jack is a great guy and I can't even begin to imagine what he and Cathy are going through. I'll help.
  10. So if there was no longer a $200 tax on suppressors why would manufacturers and dealers not just jack the price to line their own pockets with all that extra money the buyers would have?
  11. Kinda hoping you'll tell us what it is.
  12. I've kinda been thinking the same but dealers have really been moving the merchandise lately. It all depends on how much they've got stockpiled and how fast they want to get rid of it.
  13. That's why I don't buy off the racks at big box stores. I always ask to examine one still in the box.
  14. Carl needs to get a proper eye patch and cut his damn hair. I've got no problem with guys having long hair but he's looking way past girly and that ain't cool.
  15. Glad to help. If it doesn't work talk to Lone Wolf.
  16. Lone Wolf has a 6" barrel for the 29.... https://www.lonewolfdist.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=918994&CAT=240
  17. Observe:
  18. Yep. They've had the evil ones back in the racks for a while now so any random child passing by can see them. The horror.
  19. Pour some Kroil on it so it will get down in there and break it loose. Let it soak in while you study on it... like a day. Just did the same thing on an old CVA New Remington Pocket pistol that I recently rediscovered. Built it from a kit when I was about 13, shot it a couple of times in the backyard, never cleaned it and put it away. Fast forward to now and that cylinder was completely locked up...not anymore. Kroil is the miracle oil.
  20. They'll find a way on that show. i was most impressed with Michonne's high-capacity semi-auto bolt action. She sure could throw out some lead with that 4 or 5 shot rifle.
  21. That was a Desert Eagle which does come in .357 Magnum.
  22. I wouldn't count too much on the NRA expending a lot of resources on trying to repeal NFA laws and regulations. They have their hands full nation wide just supporting basic ownership rights. The fight is not in Washington. It's in every state and local government where the anti's have focused their resources.
  23. Unless you are using that ammo for self defense, which I certainly hope your aren't, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Believe it or not but Glocks are not perfect and if you look closely at that Federal aluminum ammo you'll see the tolerances are way on the sloppy side. I think they are loading the cases like it's brass. In the couple of hundred rounds I've used there is a noticeable bulge where the bullet is seated....and using 17 round Mec-Gar mags for a Smith 5904 I can only get 16 rounds in. 17 rounds of Federal brass goes in with no problem.
