None of this has anything to do with the CMP.  They do not import rifles.  Period.  They would never have seen a single one of those Korean Garands.   If this EO bans the US Army from turning over .30 caliber rifles (M1, M1 Carbine, M1903 and M1917) to the CMP then it is direct contradiction to US law.    The sole source of these riles for the CMP is the Army.   BTW, does anyone really know what exactly the EO says and how it will be interpreted/enforced?

Like Dolomite says, I have one.  In all honesty it is one of my favorite pistols for plinking and is usually in the range bag.  Great fun to shoot and is very accurate.   My specimen does seem a bit finicky on ammo, not really liking Federal bulk much (FTE) but it eats Remington Golden Bullets like candy.  Strangest thing I've ever seen.  !00% reliable with that crappy ammo.  Will run on mini-mags as well, just like everything else.  So I think it likes a little extra pepper in the round.   I only have one mag for mine and they are not easy to find at would I would consider a reasonable price.  Seems like Bersa is the only place you can get extras.   Anyway I would recommend it if you are truly interested in one.
