1.   Probably not since that same system allowed him to run a business with illegal aliens.
2. They are only assault weapons when civilians own them.  When some government agency is involved they are high-powered semiautomatic rifles....http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/23/fontana-calif-schools-get_n_2535373.html   BTW, this is not the first example in the last month of this type of selective vocabulary by the media.
3.   Well, keep thinking.  There are M14/M1A clips.  :P
4.   Me too and I'm ready to mix it up into something big.  :D
5. Just another example of how "fake" this country has become.  I don't approve.   With all the money WE spent on the coronation she could of had the decency to sing live....if she even can.
6.   I don't even have an M1a but am compelled to hoard!!!          Just kidding. The only thing I've bought in the last two months is a sweet DM Bullard holster for my Shield.  It came today.
7.   I imagine any gun owners that voted for another Obama term are either 1) not single issue voters or 2) cannot stomach Republican social policies and in good conscience support them.
8. Sicne you didn't read my post.....   Trading in:   600 Glocks 4 Thompson submachine guns 2 Reising submachine guns 7 H&K MP-5 submachine guns 1 "Colt" submachine guns 6 37mm grenade launchers 300,000 rounds ammo 6 .22 rifles 52 12 gauge shotguns.   all that for:   225 Sig Sauer P220R handguns w/5 mags each 11 Sig "Ultra Compact" 1911's 1 H&K UMO .45 submachine gun Training, warranties, and technical support.
9. The approval for this was granted at last night's City Council meeting.  The agenda packet (meeting minutes are not yet posted) indicates Sig P220R's are the choice.  600 Glocks are to be traded in along with 59 other weapons in police inventory, including 4 Thompson's, 2 Reising's and 7 M&P-5's, for 225 P226R's, 12 Ultra Compact Sig 1911's 1 H&K UMO .45 submachine gun, services, warrenties, etc.   Here is a link: look for the "Agenda Packet"  next to the January 22nd meeting entry and watch out, it's a big pdf.  Go to page 423 and read from there, if you're really all that interested.  http://knoxvillecitytn.iqm2.com/Citizens/Default.aspx
10.   Chilhowee Park.
11.
The chief said hollow-point, 230-grain ammunition for the .45-caliber weapons will be made special for the Police Department.
I wonder what this special "KPD load" will be?
12. Here's a litlle more info....http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2013/jan/23/kpd-switching-to-higher-caliber-service-weapons/   For what it's worth, I saw a KPD officer carrying a 1911 about a month ago when I first heard they were switching over.  He must have been evaluating.
13. What's wrong with him, other than what some might consider an unfortunate name?
14. It's about time they put a limit back in place.  Should have done it a month ago.
15. Every time mags are shown in stock the link gets posted on every gun forum in the country.  Word travels fast resulting in inventories being rapidly depleted and sites crashing.  Same goes for ammo.
16. Good mags.  Here's a little bit of useless knowledge for you:  on December 18th those exact mags were $11.99/ea, the day before $9.99.  I know this because i waited until the 18th to get a few.    Glad I did.
17. Those barrels originally come in a sturdy little plastic box.  Maybe you could call them up and ask for one?
18. Maybe he's one of those Brady Bunch "plants" everyone talks about.
19. I learned a long, long time ago not to listen to what comes out of a Walmart employee's mouth.  I have heard very crack pot theory and conspiracy scenario that has ever been on the internet from someone manning the ammo counter at that place.
20. Local news is an amazing thing....   http://www.abqjournal.com/main/2013/01/21/news/five-dead-teen-accused-in-killing-spree.html
21. The fact of the matter is when ignorant fools spend way too much money for something sellers get used to that and it drives up the cost of EVERYTHING for EVERYONE.
22. Personally, I think "barrel break-in" it is a bunch of voodoo with no scientific evidence to back it up.
23.   It's just not threats of a ban they will bring.  Everyone really needs to pay close attention to what New York just passed.  Every State can enact whatever gun laws they like, they do not need to wait for Washington.
24. New York's new gun law prevents releasing that information any further.  The only good thing that came out of it.  What effect it will have on the information already out there I don't know.
