I sure felt it in Knoxville. Wondered what it was, thought something blew up. Started running around the house checking the structure and interrogating the wife on her activities.

Very nice looking rifle Glenn. I think you'll really enjoy it. Mine had little to no cosmo under the stock but it's worth breaking down anyway just to oil up the metal underneath. The barrel bands were not particularly difficult to remove, was able to do so with no scratches or flaking of the shellac. Have you thoroughly read the manual? It's a real treat.

On the church thing...there was a church shooting here in Knoxville a few years ago. Two killed, seven wounded. Food for thought. As far as the a-hole goes I would have told him to mind his own business.

Don't carry a gun on the first date. Regardless of what you might read on the internet, it is possible to live life without a gun strapped to your hip. The vast majority of the 310 million or so people in this country do it every day. If you find a gal that doesn't have a problem with it then great. If you find one that does then you need to decide what is more important.
LOL, if we did this to an Iranian drone people would be cheering on our industrial-military complex...
Actually, we would send someone over to apologize along with a couple of billion dollars.

This way this country works now if they ever do get statehood they probably will get to design the new flag. Notice how the stars are in a circle? Seen the new USA Today logo? What does it remind you of? Sounds like an everyday 336 manufactured in 1982. If it is by chance the straight grip version (336T "Texan") that it the last year they were made I belive.

It's hard, if not impossible, to compare and contrast a Kel-Tec and HP clone. Two totally different pistols. Is it just me or is the FEG grip a little fatter than a true HP?

Cherokee Military Surplus is the one on Broadway. It's a small place that doesn't have a huge selection, but there is actually surplus stuff there; it's not all the latest, overpriced, tacti-cool 5.11 operator wear. Haven't been there in at least 6 months but he usually has a decent selection of ammo cans as well.
Yes, and our country is constantly shifting from rural to urban. I was thinking about this last night. I am afraid we may see a point when the urban centers far outnumber the rest of the country and their ideologies dominate.
A vast majority of American already live in "urban" areas.... In the short term it will be gun owners keeping ammo off the shelves.

Turkey Fryers ... Outdoor Oil/Propane vs Inside Electric
Garufa replied to xRUSTYx's topic in General Chat
Definitely the outdoor propane model. When go to put the turkey in that hot oil, ease it in, slowly. That cannot be stressed enough. -
That article is dated September 9th and the video is from 2008. Let's look for today's news....like the one spotted in Philly today without a billy club.

What will you do on the day after tomorrow?

I will log into TGO to see how many members are missing due to spontaneous cranial combustion. -
Thousands of ballots unlikely to reach military voters in time
Garufa replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
The military should be able to vote over the internet.
No one should be able to vote over the internet. Period. If the DOD has dropped the ball they should be held accountable. The military can get anyone anywhere on this planet within 24 hours but cannot get ballots through? -

Those snipers, if the same as AIM was selling a few months ago, are legit.
Man, I really hate living all the way over here in West TN... All our shows here are posted, so of course I do not go.
Well then you wouldn't be going to the shows here either.
dumb question...do these have a really thick coat of clearcoat on them ? and would the varnish stripper you buy for furniture stripping take it off?..I have nearly convinced my husband that I need a Mosin ..But I need to beautify it.. He just informed they do not have any varnish on them...even better:)
The stocks are finished with shellac. If you must defile one and refinish it, denatured alcohol dissolves the shellac...without the totally unneccesary use of sandpaper.

Have you ever been to Texas? Those ol'e boys down there fill up massive hoppers with corn, sit in a "camouflaged" shed", and wait. That's hunting alright.
