    New 16lb 9mm!

What it is! What do you can this thing? Looks like a PPSh but different.
  2. Sweet tea is a little like popcorn. There's only one way to make it. In the case of tea that sugar needs to be boiled into it. The only way to make popcorn is on the stove, in a good pot, with some Wesson oil.
  3. I think it's coated in wax or something 'cause it's mighty slick.
  4. I kinda thought that's what this was all about: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/general-off-topic/23613-can-we-just-have-thread-talk.html Heck I'll play. Took the afternoon off work and have just been farting around in the garage trying to create order out of chaos.
  5. You might be cussing me when you try to get the thing open! You'll need, at a minimum: a hammer, crowbar, chisel, biggest screwdriver you can find, and possibly a torch or saw. Or you may get luck and the top will just peel right off.
  6. Strange things are afoot at the Walker Springs Walmart. When I saw SUNTZU there yesterday evening I was only there for some Hoppe's #9. There were out of it. Did talk myself into a couple boxes of that Federal 325 count .22 super auto match target ammo however. They had a bunch of that along with some Federal 9mm as well. Bet it's all gone now.
  7. I might print up a stack and hand them out at the front door of the nearest location. Just kinda blend in with the little children peddaling all their stuff and others spreading the gospel.
  8. This is what I'm talkin' 'bout... AIM Czech 7.62x54R 147grn FMJ Light Ball Czech 7.62x54R 147grn FMJ Light Ball They have Russian and Hungarian too.
  9. I like to dip biscuits in ketchup. I eat peanuts in the shell. Am I retarted?
  10. You are complete now, Comrade. Like Mosin Mike said, you'll need to start ordering ammo. By the crate. It's all good stuff but the Czech has an intoxicating nose compounded with compelling bouquet. It just smells good! If you install a Nancy-Pad then you might need even more ammo.
  11. I am going to clean my Mosin untill there is no black residue or blue copper traces. Later. But I did make a good head start of it tonight after blowing 90 painless rounds through it. The Nancy-Pad rocks!
  12. If you can find it, Speer Gold Dot Short Barrel +P. Designed for snubbies.
  13. I'm bringing my M48 out so you can get your "Mauser" on.
  14. You say it's got Line-X on it? Never heard of this one! Impressive. Apes carried M1 Carbines in Monkey stocks.
  15. I would not worry about the gun you "qualified" with or what you choose to carry now. Heck, many people have a different piece for every day of the week and have a BUG on top of that. Once upon a time the license was tied to the gun. That has not been the case for a long time. However, there is nothing at all wrong with wanting to continue the education in shooting. If you're willing to spend the money and time, take a more advanced class, if such a thing is offered that builds upon the initial HCP couse, or if you want to just go through the motions again, then do it.
  16. Has anyone ever seen a gun store properly posted?
  17. FYI: The "Plush Club" where the shootings on Beale took place is NOT in the closed off area. It's at 4th & Beale and has been a Club for thugs forever under many different names Closed Beale is just across the street up to 2nd.
  18. OP has a tendency to get people buying boollits!
  19. I will come wearing a skirt to properly celebrate diversity whilst shooting my rubber-assed Mosin. Need to go get the wife pick out some appropriate shooting attire. I prefer Mary.
  20. M1 Garands and M1A's have a gas system designed for a specific pressure and bullet. The GI issue rounds for those rifles are loaded to a LOWER pressure than commecial rounds which are usually designed for more hunting-oriented shooters. Higher pressure. Garands in particular are prone to ruination with continued use of high pressure commercial rounds. Basically it bend the operating rod. Adjustable Gas-plug can be installed to prevent this. I assume M1A is the same - have no experience with them. Fast forward to the 5.56/.223. The AR, NATO or whatever you call it 5.56mm is much higher pressure than the commercial .223 round. Guess it has to be to make that teeny boollit do anything.
  21. I just might know someone with a steel plate, complete with a big Go Vols orange dot painted on it and ready for perforation.
