Wondering how many of you have had or have one of these. It ain't real tactical, but it's a keeper. Can't believe I never bought one when I was in the service! 1979 Camillus U.S. Military Utility Knife (AKA The Demo Knife) I got this one off EBAY for $23.50, shipped. It's obviously used, but still in great condition, with good snap to the blades, for a 33 year old pocket knife and sharpened right up, when I broke out the stones. Needs a bit more cleaning, which I will do this weekend. I think this one will be in my EDC rotation along with the Opinel No.9 and the Svord Peasant. I carry the Kershaw Clash everyday as well.

I would like to take the time to thank all of you that volunteered to take up our cause in Nashville! You all invested a lot of time and effort, and while it didn't pay off this year, the ground work as been set for next year. I think a sleeping giant has been awakened. Now let's not let him go back to sleep! -
You'd be hard pressed to find a better pistol and a older Ruger MkII or a new MKIII. They are virtually bomb proof and will last forever. They are very accurate as well and there are all kinds of upgradable parts available for them. They come in blue or stainless, with regular barrels or bull barrels, fixed or adjustable sights and lengths from 4" to something like 8". The grip is nice for small hands and it's comfortable. Great pistol to learn on, imo. I've taught my son and one of my daughters to shoot with them.

I've already stated that I will remember what Mr. Dunn did NOT DO FOR US come election time. Sadly, he had no one run against him in the 2010 election. Best as I can tell, that's the case again. But when he does, I will remember and I will vote for the other person, even if it's Satan. Too bad I can't vote in this Maggart race. I'd vote for the other fella and hopefully help send her packing. -
Both of those are sweet! I love the Sodbuster style and you can't go wrong with that Mini Muk! What are the specs on each?

Definitely worth the fight!!! Very nice looking pair you got there!!!

Neither are the Repuglicans, apparently! Talk about sheep's clothing, what about the Repuglican leadership! A pox on all of them!!! Mr. Dunn will not be receiving my vote for the very first time. And next time Haslem will not receive it either. I'm sure that will break both their hearts. Obviously Haslem has been in bed, not only with Alexander, but they both had a threesome with Bloomberg. -
George Norry is alright. I usually enjoy his shows. Alex Jones is a nut job and Infowars is a website for those with more than one screw loose.

No response from Dunn as of 15 minutes ago. I can tell you this, Dunn will not get my vote. I'm tried of being played by the Republicans. I've been dis-satisfied for a while now with what all they have been doing. I think now it's time for them to get a wake up call. -

Here is what I sent Mr. Dunn, my State Representative. Mr. Dunn, It has come to my attention that the House Republican Caucus voted this evening, not to bring H.B. 3560 to a vote this year. As a citizen of Tennessee and a voter in your District, I would like to know how you voted on this matter. In the Subject line, it read "Republican Failure to Bring H.B. 3560 to the Floor for a Vote" Can't wait to see his reply. -
Furry little four legged creature found in the woods. AKA ground squirrel and Boomer. The most famous Chipmunks are Chip and Dale from Disney fame and Alvin, Theodore and Simon. They sing. Might even make it big in Nashvegas one of these days! And it's also Dolomite's bolt action rifle, wants to be a pistol thingy. Congrats on the purchase Dolomite.

One other thing about the Altoids Tin sized PSK, is you can fit it into one of those clip-on cellphone holsters. Makes a nice easy way to carry it around if your wearing something that doesn't have big pockets.
-
If you do a google on Personal Survival Kits, you will find oodles of info. You don't really need a ziplock bag for this. Most people make them out of Altoids Tins. You would be surprised at what you all you can stuff in one of those tins. Definitely enough to get you through the night in an emergency situation. Here is an excellent link to check out. http://www.equipped.com/drperskit.htm

Hi-Points are fun rifles! They are just a pain in the posterior to breakdown and clean. I said this once before and I think OS made the observation that no one cares about cleaning them. Guess that's true. Just stick to Hi-Point Mags. Anything else is crap.

I don't plan on ever owning another VW after this, nor will I use FEDEX ever again for delivery. -
Get a Mosin Nagant. The ammo is still pretty cheap and easily found. You can even hunt with it, with the right ammunition.
-
That's a nice looking Kephart on top!!! Congrats in the trade! I think you will be happy with the K31.

I have mag wobble with my Saiga .223. I'm using 35 round Galil mags with it. But it doesn't effect performance one little bit, so I don't worry about it.

Water already is. If you don't think so, look at the dust up right here in the states between Alabama, Georgia and Florida over the Chattahoochee River a couple of years ago. If we don't get behind Romney and the Republican Candidates in the House and Senate, it will be a disaster waiting to happen in next 4 years. If Obama gets a chance to sway the balance of the Supreme Court, I can just about guarantee you that there will be a challenge to the 2nd Amendment by someone like Bloomberg or another of the Big City Mayors.
-
My wish list would be a Swedish Mauser in 6.5x55, a Finn Mosin Nagant and the Swiss K-31. All those have a coolness factor for me that outclasses anything else, but a Springfield. You ain't going to get a Springfield for 300 bucks though.
-
My next .22 is going to be a tube feed. Can't decide though if I want another bolt action or a Model 60. Will the Model 60 shoot shorts, longs and LR? That may be the deciding factor. If not I may go look for an old Winchester or Remington. I believe those will.

They aren't $65 anymore either!

I guess I look at like this. Ground your kids with the basics and they will be ok, regardless of what they are being taught in school. I know several kids that have just finished or are finishing up over at UTK and for the most part, they are either moderate or conservative thinkers. Only one or two are what I consider to be liberal.
