  2. Musicman is good people!! I would take up his offer anytime.   Musicman if you will help him load cast I will donate a few .45 that I cast from a Lyman 452374 mould.   They are suposed to be 225gr but mine drops 215gr.   Just shoot me a PM if they sound good to you.
  3. No sir  I use more beeswax than anything. I will have to check the exact amount & get back with ya.
  4. I use my own lube in a RCBS lubamatic. I mix beeswax, carnaba wax, Parafin wax (for color), Vasoline, Johnsons paste wax, & Lanolin.   It is working great! i have had absolutly no leading in the 45-70, 444 Marlin, 30-30, 38spl, or 9mm.     Will try more calibers a little later.
  5. I'm glad it is working out for you. You & little man will have alot of fun out of those trucks.
  6. Damn I got alot of neighbors on here now! Welcome to the forum.
  7. I stopped looking at that site after Obama was elected the first time. ya remember when they were the first to tripple the ammo prices?? I do!   They lost my buisness that day!
  8. I'm really surprised that no one is saying metal. Its no blacksmithing or knifesmithing without a peice of iron.
  9. I'm in but I have nothing to offer but maybe a beer :).   Na I do have plenyt hammers  & i might be able to find an anvil. I know I have a cheap anvil & may have peice of RR around.   I should also be able to find a little metal to bring along.
  10. I always put a tight taper crimp on mine & i had no problems with the function with mine, however  It did not like a light load due to it having a stiff recoil spring.  I tried a load I had been playing with out of my 1911 it would stovepipe every other one.
  11. Wow everybody panics because sally bought her husband & her son a box of .22 bullets for xmas.
  12. If you look at the related topics on that page it says the man who booted the ambulance was issued a citation & fired.
  13. What the hell kinda scope mount is that?
  14. This is what happens to a VXL Rustler at about 45 mph when it comes to a dead stop on a concrete mailbox! i had just put on the aluminun a arms & caster blocks about 10 min before the crash. Cost about $12 to fix The second pic is how it looks now after about 50 to 55 mph & hitting a truck wheel in the road! this should cost around $25 to fix. 15. I have 2 Traxxas Stampede 2wd trucks I would like to sell PM Me if you may be interested. Just so you know to drive through much grass you need a pretty stout motor & some good battery packs. Bogging in grass kills battery packs fast.

  17. IMHO the 45-70 is nothing like the e 30-30 & it is nothing like thw 357mag. I have a 45-70 GBL & a 336 chambered in 30-30 & let me tell you from the stock end there is absolutely NO comparison!!!! I dont have a 357 I do have a .444 Marlin & now a .35 Rem in a Marlin lever so i get to see what I like!! So far it is the 45-70 & the 35 Rem!! I know! no Help but my two pennies!!
  18. Mine sluggs at .308- .309 & is a 336. Does your round nose feed well in a levergun??
  19. Haha Matt I wanna know a little more about it too. I did finally get the sizer cleaned from the other lube I was using & it is full of my home made lube now. I just need to get busy & lube some to try!! You don't have a good flat nose .311 mold??
