New Assault Weapon ban in Massachusetts
Grand Torino replied to xsubsailor's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Well that's what they used to do. Nowadays most of these politicians say whatever they want and the bumbling masses say it must be true. Idiots. -
You know they would.

What these people do is insane and should be punished. While the right to assemble is one thing stopping traffic on the roads is holding people against their will. It never fails the most obnoxious people are the ones flapping their jaws, carrying signs and threatening people instead of working for a living and being a somewhat productive member of society. Losers...all of them.

The fact still remains that crazy SOB's are murdering in cold blood police officers in the streets. There is no justification for that at all. Many things are broken in this country and blame starts from the Inciter in Chief down. All of you that seem to be able to predict things and know all the reasons may want to start using your powers to come up with reasonable, safe solutions because this crap happening in the streets is not the answer and does nothing to promote anything but more hate. Stupid people do stupid things.

My Little Family of Hatchets

We always can everything from our garden that we can. I wouldn't want to do it every day but for the several times we break out all the equipment we always have an enjoyable day.

I have friends over there and they said this has been in the making for quite a while now. The military leaders are more Western in their thought and didn't care for Erdogan's hard line ideas like forcing women back in Berkas and all the rest that goes with it. I spent 6 years over there in the 80's and while most Turks are of course Muslim they didn't care what you were as long as you didn't push your ideas on them. I found them moderate for the most part and most of them reminded me of a lot of folks that call themselves Catholics here in the states but don't practice every aspect of that faith.

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/07/14/illinois-gun-restrictions-unfairly-target-foster-parents-lawsuit-claims.html Kenneth and Colleen Shults want to permanently welcome a foster child into their Fairmount, Ill., family, but claim in a federal suit filed this week they are being forced to surrender their Second Amendment rights to do it. Already parents of three, the couple is in the process of formally adopting a daughter through the state foster care system and is fighting Department of Children and Family Services rules they say severely restrict their gun rights. The couple charges that the firearm restrictions aimed at safeguarding foster children violate their constitutional rights and threaten their ability to keep their family safe. Prospective Illinois foster parents must either certify that there are no firearms in their home or complete a form called the Foster Family Firearms Arrangement. That document requires a list of all guns and ammunition in the home and locations where they are stored. Would-be foster parents also must certify the guns have trigger locks and are stored unloaded, separate from ammunition and in locked containers accessible only with a key kept off the premises or on the owner’s person. The rules can be enforced by involuntary home inspections, according to the lawsuit. The Shultses claim to have a legitimate need for the protection afforded by an accessible, loaded gun. Colleen, a nurse at the Illinois Department of Corrections’ Danville Correctional Center, was warned in March by her employer that prisoners were seeking home addresses of prison staff, including correctional officers and nurses. The letter warned that she and other prison employees should take unspecified precautions. The Shultses have complied with the state policy so far, but now believe they need guns at the ready “for self-defense and defense of family.” “This lawsuit is important not just for foster families in Illinois, but all across the nation,” said Gottlieb. “What we are challenging is the denial of the fundamental right to defend yourself and your family.” Read more.
