I have the chance to pick up, on the cheap, a Remmy 783 in .308. Does anybody have any comments (good or bad) about this rifle? I have seen alot of reviews from gun rags but their opinions are bought (IMO). Just looking for honest feedback. Thanks.

I'm not a big fan of Hollywierd actors but this story really got to me. Things have not changed much in the former colonies these days.....tax on privileges (driving) ....tax on rights (ammo) ....tax on necessities....(food) ....tax on luxuries (boats) ...tax on death (inheritance)  carbon tax, fuel tax, sin tax, entertainment tax, housing tax.....it boggles the mind how much and how often the .gov gets in/out wallets. I welcome you to a place of less restriction than California. I welcome you to a forum of fellow 2A/gun/personal rights advocates. Oscars? I had three of them in a 75 gallon tank....interesting watching them devour feeder fish....same thing as in Hollywierd.....watching them from the outside as they swim in their own "stuff" and display what God gave them...............rather watch the fish  :popcorn:
