  1. Just kick the valve stem, usually breaks it and is less obvious that you intended to cause the flat than if you cut something.
  2. I had someone follow me one day, someone cut me off and I locked up the brakes to keep from hitting them, honked the horn and went around. They then proceeded to cut another lane of traffic off and drove on the shoulder to catch up to me and followed me for about 3 miles leaning out the window yelling. I kept driving and they finally turned off. I tend to drive about 6-7 mph over what's posted but I try not to ride people's bumpers and don't honk and carry on when they are doing the speed limit. I will usually flip you the bird if you cut me off and cuss inside my car but not yelling out the window and waving around.
  3. Consider this possibility - a dozen airliners missing from Libya? Haven't dug into the story at all to see if other sources are reporting it, or how reliable WJ is, but a scary thought regardless. http://www.westernjournalism.com/breaking-just-revealed-a-dozen-jetliners-stolen-terror-experts-warn-of-possible-911breaking-just-revealed-a-dozen-jetliners-stolen-terror-experts-warn-of-possible-911-mass-attack-mass-attack/
  4. I have this Tapco AR stock spanner wrench and it is a pics of crap. Well it does work but doesn't fit in the notches properly so dug into the castle nut and marred it. Not too concerned with the marks but wish I had spent more for a proper tool. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002E6X44C?pc_redir=1409461299&robot_redir=1
  5. I plan on heading back to this one to look around and kill some time. Hopefully grab some reloading stuff.
  6. I have a turret press and plan on sticking with it instead of upgrading to a progressive (RCBS turret). For rifle I use it strictly as a single stage and it is capable of producing consistent sub MOA ammo no problem even with the little bit of flex in a turret. I do use the turret feature for my pistol reloads. 200ish rounds an hour once I get going. Turret is a good compromise for speed and accurate ammo and a much cheaper price point than a full progressive. I own several reloading manuals - the Lee is a pretty good all around manual, also have Hornady, Hodgdon yearly magazine/manuals, Nosler, Speer and Sierra. Most of what I shoot for my AR are Sierra bullets so that manual gets the most use in conjunction with the Hodgdon manual for cross reference. And use mfg data from their websites - usually print off the page I want and keep it in my notebook.
  7. Maury County Gun Club in Columbia. May be further than you want to drive. Membership is $90 a year. 3 pistol ranges and a 200 yard rifle range. Supposed to be putting in a 50x50 yard range for 3 gun type stuff.
  8. I'm interested in learning how to cerakote. I haven't looked into it yet, how difficult is it?
  9. Since no one else is claiming it, why not...I'll take the 3rd bottle.
  10. I have them saved on my DVR waiting on time to watch em.
  11. Just saw that. And this time is seems Red Jacket has distanced themselves from him. http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2014/08/foghorn/breaking-sons-guns-satr-arrested-alleged-rape-12-year-old/ Red Jacket has also legally separated themselves from Will Hayden following this latest accusation, posting the following on their Facebook page: Today, Red Jacket Firearms has received complete legal separation as an entity, from Will Hayden. We will continue to operate, although with heavy hearts and promise to do everything in our power to fill customer orders, back orders and provide support to those affected by these new developments.
  12.   I almost went with a Vortex on my carbine but grabbed the Primary Arms microdot instead. I was thinking about another PA red dot for this pistol but may step up to a Vortex - have a couple of their scopes and love the quality, great value.
  13. Cool, thanks. I hadn't read very much into it but enough to tell I was legal either way. Will probably throw that 16" upper on and fire a couple of magazines through it this weekend to test out the lower and see how I like the MIAD grip angle with the short LOP.
  14.   Like OS said, as long as don't put a stock on it first, good to go. Build it as a pistol and can swap back and forth, being careful not to have a stock and short barrel on at the same time. Mine is built solely as a pistol, so if I mount the 16" upper it becomes a "firearm" from what I have read because of the length but no stock. These laws can get confusing quickly.   I thought about going with a 300BO but like I said I have no use case for it. A lot more work for reloading with cutting down the brass, and the caliber itself does little for me. Not going to suppress it, at close range for deer hunting the 5.56 works well, and for long range I have a 30-06. Would rather keep it a 5.56 upper for cheaper shooting.
  15.   Thanks for the info, may check it out. Just holding the lower here in the house with the brace shouldered, the grip feels fine for me. But will see when I actually get to shoot it  :) At the Mboro gun show I will see if I can find a K2 grip and check it out. I have a Troy CQB grip in the classifieds for sale, the grip it actually too small for me and Magpul/Troy FDE is way different and I couoldn't stand the difference.
  16. I have the original MOE and it puts my hand too far back to easily flip the selector without moving my grip hand or using support hand. I had read a couple of comments on the K2 grip helping others, but walked into the LGS to test a couple and they had the MIAD - slid it on a lower really quick and looked at how it lined up, felt good so walked out with it.
  17.   I can't wait to shoot it! Tempted to take my 16" upper and put on to test it out this weekend while I search for and decide on a pistol upper.
  18. My hot sauce arrived today, tried two of them so far. The habanaro has a nice slow burn. Best $1 I have spent in a while!
  19. Other parts arrived today! The lower is now finished... Aded Magpul FDE trigger guard and a Battle Arms Development ambi selector in FDE. Their FDE is a bit darker but looks really good IMO. Got the Sig brace installed so ready to add an upper and start shooting.
  20. Good luck! Took AT&T 6 months to install service at my house, and that is after they verified they could install at my house in the first place. Was a huge pain, they said yeah no problem will have service for you in 2 hours. Turned into will be back tomorrow, then back next week, and finally after 6 months they had new lines run and all setup. Even more irritating, my neighbor had Uverse the entire time with no issues. AT&T was able to service his house, which is further from their box than my house. Was a mess.
  21. Lifetime membership sounds good :)
  22. Never participated in any true shooting competition. Looks like a ton of fun though. Not sure if I could get away that day or not due to family being in town.
  23. I wasn't going to play in any fantasy leagues this year. But why not...count me in. Have to dig up my ESPN login.
  24. I have a Sig brace on the pistol I am building now. I have shot with one at the range a couple of times. I am using the Phase 5 buffer, gives a 9" LOP.
  25. Haha, yeah and lot more noise too. This will be a HD weapon too but with my other pistols and carbine this should not be a primary weapon.
