Whatever the outcome, probably another event that we will never know the full truth about.

IDK, if this was planned correctly and they had a place to land/hide then they know there will be a large search issued. So they could be prepared and have paint and new numbers ready to be applied - fake numbers won't hold up forever but could for a bit to allow them to move the plane. Yes it is far fetched, but if the plane was taken then who knows how far their plans extend.

Get a Vortex scope, I love the couple I have. Lifetime warranty, super bright clear glass. Less expensive and every bit as good as my Nikons.

The longest shot in my house would be about 10-12 yards. I patterned it out to 20 yards and with the turkey choke it will ruin a day as well as anything else. Nice having the reduced recoil too, especially if my wife needed it. I've told her she is better off grabbing it then one of the pistols.

I don't have a defensive shotgun per se but have a 12 gauge pump turkey gun with a 20" barrel (Stoeger P350). It has a pistol grip, red dot and works fairly well to sweep my house with. I keep it loaded with #8 dove shot. I would like to put some 00buck in it but haven't gotten around to it. I would load up my turkey rounds but then the wife wouldnt be able to handle it (probably same issue with the 00).

I have spent several hundred dollars there on stuff, and always been treated fairly well. Prices have always been fair (although I have never bought brass or looked at the price) and he always seems to have what I am looking for, although the last time I stopped in no pistol powder that I wanted to use. I remember the issue Caster posted about though and I did avoid purchasing there for a while but have went back a few times in the past 6 months.

Tumblers ? Are these deals any good ?

I have the Frankford Arsenal separator and hate it - it makes a mess since it just rotates over a bucket. I may grab one of those closed separators to keep the media contained and from flying all over the place when I rotate. -
Of course, he pleads Not Guilty. Next appearance April 9th. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/holly-bobo-murder-kidnap-suspect-zachary-adams-pleads-not-guilty-in-2011-tennessee-abduction/

I would like to see a pic, I assume the bullets just look better after this? BTW, has anyone tried All Powder Paints? Their prices are much better than Powder Buy the Pound, looks like they only sell by the pound (the one color I have been using is $12 for a pound vs $10 for 2oz at PBtP). I coated some bullets today for the first time in a few weeks and realized I am basically out of powder. I plan to try a couple of new colors too.

I have that Midwest 12" rail on my PTAC upper and love it. Slim feel but very customizable. The only drawback is that since it is so thin it can warm up quickly.

If you use fine enough media (such as pet store lizard litter, maybe corn cob bedding as well) then it does not get stuck. Normal reloading media from RCBS and others is not as fine and it does get stuck in the flash hole. My process is tumble my brass so it is clean, then deprime/size and then tumble again. The 2nd tumble is not required for pistol and I sometimes skip it, but for rifle brass the 2nd tumble removes the lube residue. -
Not to get too far off topic, but I am really glad I did not go into aviation. I had a partial scholarship to get my airframe/powerplant (plus free pilots license) out in Oklahoma, and ended up not going. I would have graduated right when American Airlines tanked and would have been struggling to find a job. Instead I stayed home working in a computer break-fix shop using skills and certifications from high school and after moving between employers a couple of times it has really paid off. Back on topic, still waiting for an update and hoping they find something soon. Even if it is wreckage, I am sure it will be a comfort to the families to know for certain instead of having to wonder.

eBay Alert folks might need to know about with craigslist!!!
TNMTBik3r replied to bersaguy's topic in General Chat
I found one of these a few weeks ago. 2005 Ford F150 completely decked out, only 50k miles. Located in Oklahoma and was a soldier getting ready to deploy so he was only asking 1/3rd of the vehicle value. The truck was "being sold by Auto Trader" but was not on their site. Supposedly Auto Trader was holding the vehicle and would arrange transfer after the payment had been wired. The vehicle could not be viewed or picked up in person. My FIL was tempted but I told him it had too many tips pointing to a scam. -
Brass Collectors - 30-06 Military Brass
TNMTBik3r replied to TNMTBik3r's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Actually I do have some that has not been deprimed and sized yet, forgot I dumped them in another box because I have so much. Not sure what HS may be in there. And have some berdan primed OJP stamp that has only been cleaned. -
This is for anyone here who collects brass. I recently purchased some 30-06 brass that has a bunch of Military brass mixed in. I have seen headstamps dated back to 40 and 43. If there are any collectors here who might be looking for a specific HS let me know. This has all been cleaned and sized/deprimed if that matters to you. I have seen LC, LC Match, Den, TW, SL and a few others. Note - I am not selling the brass, I intend to use it for target ammo. But I am willing to give a few pieces away if a collector is looking for a HS I have. I figured this was the best spot to post since I am not selling.

I think the Midsouth, Cabelas, and Berry's tumblers are all the same with a different color and sticker on them. I have read a couple posts on other sites proclaiming that anyways. I have a Lyman Turbo Pro 1200 I am thinking about getting rid of for a larger tumbler. I have a Frankford Arsenal and it will hold almost double the brass the Lyman will. Keep capacity in mind depending on how much brass you think you will process at a time - I underestimated when I got the Lyman. -
Basically, they are preventing users from under 18 from seeing the posts. "We will remove reported posts that explicitly indicate a specific attempt to evade or help others evade the law," the company said in a statement." This does not mean they will stop all gun sales, just illegal gun sales and dealers offering to sell without BGC. Private party sales are exempt from BGC by federal law, so they should not be stopping these. So doesn't sound like much to me, but will see how it plays out. I could care less either way....

I have several boxes of thin mints stashed around the kitchen. Several in the freezer, they are great frozen.

I ordered some brass from a guy, shipping out of Florida. He shipped in a flat rate box with 1 day priority mail. Shipped on Friday morning, expected delivery was Saturday. Nothing Saturday, I wasn't in a rush so thought it would show up Monday. Monday morning the tracking showed the box had processed and left Nashville. Tuesday the box was scanned back through Orlando! I contacted the seller, he tried to find out what happened but the Post Office had no idea, they said the box was marked to go back to Nashville and verified my address. Box was shipped back to Nashville, processed, and back to Orlando a second time. This went on for several days, box was processed through Orlando and Nashville 3 times and it took almost 2 weeks for a 1 day package to arrive..

I do that with my 10/22. But I have a scope so not that difficult :-)

I woke up this morning intending to just look at a couple of vehicles and then come home and make a decision. Instead we brought home a Chevy HHR. My wife liked it, Very low miles, got a good price, and it drives great. 30mpg isn't bad either! Heritage Automotive in Lawrenceburg was great to deal with. Thank you all for the suggestions in this thread, we just couldn't find exactly what we were looking for at any other lot or with a private seller.

Certainly some questions still about what happened and how things were handled, but no way in hell an entire town could be part of a coverup. Someone would slip up in the past year and let the story out. It would have to be almost the entire town, all the friends of the families and such, lots of connections...
-
Good luck with it! I backed off from the Murano, it was a bit too expensive for the couple of minor issues and the owner would not back off the price at all.

Thanks. I have heard a lot of good and bad about the CVT but have no experience myself. My neighbor trusts them and my bit of research seems to show the 2006 and later models really don't suffer from the early issues as often. We are going to talk to the bank today and test drive again this weekend to make a decision.
