  1. I haven't had a bad meal at CB but I've never had one that made me want to go back. I've had a couple that took forever to turn up at the table too (and one for pick-up that made us miss the beginning of the Walking Dead finale).
  2.   They should go back to the original system where the VP is the runner-up from the presidential election. I think it actually makes a lot of sense if you forget the menatility of "my team won" for a second and think of it in terms of having a country to run.
  3. fsckers have no principles.
  4. I have not seen it either. I avoid reality TV in general as I can feel my brain start moldering any time it's on. THat's why I was avoiding commenting in this thread. Oh well, I'm here now.
  5. The 11th commandment is already "Don't get caught". I think the sentiment is already covered in Which has already been mentioned further up the thread. Most thoughtful Christian teaching I've been exposed to espouses the idea that the coming of Christ created a new covenant so calls to the laws of the old testament are on shaky ground, especially when you consider some of the many rules and laws stated there that are routinely ignored. (In all fairness, one word: bacon) It seems to me that the issue of contention here is that there are elements from both (and more) sides who are talking at cross purposes and pushing their own agendas. I could list them all out but I ain't gonna. I have to say that I see almost none of that on this site and that most of the butthurt seems to be against external groups who seem to do this kind of "getting offended" thing for a living.
  6. How so?
  7. I quite like it. The "One Nation under God" is a bit corny though. What next? The right to keep and arms?
  8. You just need to marry a woman who makes sure you wake up with no covers.    I can actually exit the bed quickly by throwing the covers off and be out and standing within half a second. The comes from many years of extending in-bed time past the alarm as long as possible. :)
  9.   Just checked again and a good night's sleep has improved things considerably. I still think I'll have to consider other options as I upgrade optics though.
  10. From what I understand, the jig takes a lot of the effort out of it. Most of what's needed is a slow, steady hand.
  11. I picked up a red-dot scope yesterday and sad to say, they may not work too well with my eyes :(
  12.   I especially like the bit in the bible where it tells you to decorate trees and put them in your homes and prey to a fat guy in a red suit.
  13.   Oh, you can put quite a lot of pickup trucks with no wheels on quite a lot of acres.
  14. He was in the hospital today. Just exhaustion apparently. It's hard work ruining a country.
  15. At first I thought you meant the very end of the pin which wouldn't make sense. But then I saw what you really meant which is what I meant.
  16. I think you're right. Why sell a gun for $500 today when you might be able to sell it for $1000 next week and it might be hard to get more stock? Very shady. Edit: Oh wait, Dec 2012? Never mind then.
  17. I think it was actually the bolt catch and it cut it in the rounded barrel part of the pin (if you mean what I think you mean then yes).
  18. I mean it cut a thread (only a shallow one) in the smooth part of the pin. I had to apply force with my thumbnail on the real thread while I unscrewed it to get it out.
  19. I had no problem getting mine in but I had problems getting it out again. A sharp edge on the bolt catch had cut a thread on the pin on the way in and that made it very hard to pull out again. I pulled and pushed the pin until the sharp edge was gone and then it was fine. Definitely one to watch for (I still like this style of pin)
  20. Tanker, I take one exception to what you say. The treatment of vets is very much the concern of non-vets as I am sure those currently in and considering entering the military are keeping a good eye on what is in store for them.
  21. Here is a quick question of no importance.   On the CMT site, I notice that for the selector switch, their lowers have the bullet/crossed bullet engraved in the metal. On ours, we have the words "safe/fire". Just wondering how come this is.   Not that I'm complaining. I prefer the words to the childish icons as I am both literate and not selling a big mac with fries. I'm just curious as to why the difference.
  22. They are all black and should therefore be illegal.
  23.   It's like anything else. It's only wrong when the government isn't doing it.     Edit: Nooooooo!!! I was scrupulously avoiding posting in this thread :(
  24. Not my bag but it's kinda cool in its own way. I can see that there might be room for a range of similarly themed lowers & uppers.
  25. We should all insist on being paid in precious metals and Bitcoin.
