Well, this is a new pair of Robins. I had a pair there two weeks ago raise 4 young and once the young left the nest I removed the old nest and threw in in my trash can and now this is another new pair getting ready to raise their young in the same place as the other nest was I removed. I guess I will be feeding another family of babies. I put Mela worms and Crickets out on the gravel drive and they get them and take them up and feed the young birds. There at the end they would wait for me to walk right up to them and put the meal worms down and fly right passed me to the nest. They were not scare of me at all towards the end.

I cannot believe this but ya'll remember me and the Robins, Right. Well about 5 days after the babies flew the nest I removed it from the light fixture and threw it in my trash can. Went out the other day and saw a few strands of vine type stringers hanging from the same light fixture and thought I had missed a few so reached up and pulled the down and threw them in my trash can. Today I went out to talk with a few buddies that stopped by and one of them said Look at that nest on your light. Yep, sure nuff another pair of Robins has built yet another nest on the same light and since they have it completed I'm gonna leave it and see how many babies I will be feeding this round. Last pair had 4. I cannot believe they are nesting this late in the year but they are. Will post pictures of the new nest soon as I take some and down load them. I cannot believe this means more trips to the bait store for Crickets and Meal worms............  pictures of nest # 2

In the beginning I had to feel sorry for all the people losing their homes but then as time went on and I learned that all of them are aware of the fact that they are in the middle of a drought and yet the build camp fires and have grill outs just inviting trouble so no pity on self in flicked injuries................jmho

Walmartians - People of Walmart - Walcreatures - Version 22
bersaguy replied to vontar's topic in General Chat
I was at Walmart Customer Service 1 time when a woman came in and you could tell, she was not a happy camper. She was in one of these video's and wanted to see the manager. Man when they got face to face I would have given anything in the world to have had a video of that confrontation for sure. The Metro Police ended up escorting her from the store but I did over hear the manager tell the woman that is she does not want to make the Walmart Videos which are made by individuals and not Walmart maybe she needs to use a full length mirror before leaving her home to see how ridiculous she looked and do something to improve her appearance and man that was when she would have went postal on him if she would have had a gun. It took everything I could do to keep from busting a gut wanting to laugh but I didn't want to be her next target........... :biglol: :biglol: -
I have road shotgun on several occasions when one of my friends was doing a firearms deal with a Craigslist person. I read several of the emails the two had back and forth and the guy just seemed far to excited about being able to meet my buddy and buy a gun from him. I figured it was one of two things. A sting operation which would have failed because the buddy I was backing up is a Sumner County Deputy and to there was going to be all ID's check and HCP produced or there would be no deal. Meeting was Academy Sports parking lot at Rivergate and we were early and standing beside his pickup when the guy drove up and slowed down but didn't stop. Looked at us and drove away. He told my buddy what he would be driving so we know it was him. My buddy got his tag number and ran it and they has exchanged first names in the emails and the truck came back stolen. It was gonna be a bad day for someone that day had Bobby not had me along riding shotgun. The guy was not expecting to see two people I don't think but driving a stolen truck told us what we needed to know.......................

I'm just glad someone shut him down before he ended up killing someone. i never let the buyer pick the place for the transaction. it takes place on my turf and I am always aware of the surroundings. I also watch the way the buyer is acting and I am always ready to react with my carry weapon and on many if not most of the times I have done deals I have a friend that is also armed go with me. Any time large sums of money or firearms sales are taking place everyone needs to stay crisp...............jmho

Well I don't have a wife but I do have an extremely high maintenance Mutt that keeps me from buying a lot of things. A few of my friends have said they don't spend as much on their wives as I do my mutt..............but shes my mutt and my responsibility so I deal with it....... :ugh: :ugh:

A person that asks another person to shoot them to test a bullet proof vest while wearing it has got to have a death wish. I mean most police officers wear them every day and hope and pray they are not shot at. They are good to have but they don't protect all of your body like a complete body armor suit would and even those have their sweet spots if a round finds its way through it....jmho

Gun Brokers has quite a few on their site and prices all over the place on them. It's like people can't make up their minds how much they should charge for their guns........ :ugh: :ugh:

If I want to test a vest I put it on a post packed full of cloth and shoot the damn thing. That would tell me all I needed to know........... :screwy: :screwy: move on the part of all involved. Small caliber guns are the last ones I want shooting at me like 17 or 22 WMR of even just a 22lr. They have all been know for vest penetration and injury to police officers. I don't know about the newer stuff but the original Kelvar was not a good protection against an Rimfire rounds....................jmho

I'm driving a 1997 Jeep myself and the recommendation on looking for 4.0 High output in line 6 cylinder is very sound suggestion. I do get about 18 around town and about 21 on the highway and I am running the 4.0 in my Jeep Cherokee Sport.......jmho

Never Thought I'd See Wally Not Being Cheapest ...
bersaguy replied to Oh Shoot's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Well as I recall I heard rumors back when they decided they could not get our guys that made the decision to get the ammo and make the guns useless except as clubs so every department of the Federal Gooberment right up the federal dog catchers bought 100's of thousands of rounds of ammo to try and dry up all the ammo supplies to the American people. That didn't work to well either as most Americans have still be able to lay their hands on some. Yea prices are up but it is not empty shelves like the Gooberment was hoping for..............jmho If people keep shopping they can find a good buy on ammo they need or want. It just takes patience.........jmho -
Yep, Sounds like with having to practically rebuild the entire suspension means it has probably had some serious off road time. Jeep V-8's do not get any type of gas mileage what so ever. Especially early 2000's series. As far as the Sensor goes and intermittent check engine light coming on and it only being a sensor my question would be which sensor is it. EGR sensor, 02 sensor possible, both relatively easy repairs. Speed control Sensor (Inside tranny) not an easy fix. To many unknowns for me to consider buying it if it were me. If the person he bought it from had the Sensor what stopped him from having it installed to fix the problem?..................jmho

I think they are doing my machine automatically because this machine was originally my back up computer and was completely wiped and reprogramed last year with XP and then stored for over a year and I just reactivated two weeks ago and I have been getting updates about every 2 or 3 days since i put it back in service..............jmho

I use to blame my wife for this stuff but since the only occupant in my home is the Mutt Kasey I know it's all me......... :surrender:

People are learning about these price gougers and they will almost have to give it away before it's over to even try and recover any of their costs. It's great when they pay for table space on top of what they paid for the ammo and don't sell anything because that just drives the price of his ammo higher on his expenses.........

I have got to be the most hiding and not being able to find person in the world. I hate it when I know I have strangers coming to my house and I have to hide things. I have hid things from myself that have been gone for a couple years now and I swear I put them where I would be sure and find them. Now I have finally fixed my problem and I don't lose anything any more. Bought a pocket take recorder a while back because the last land lord put the place up for sale and I knew that meant lots of strangers coming in my house. Everything I hid went on the pocket recorder. After the place sold I was able to go back and retrieve every thing I hid from them and me......................Best invested 39.95 I ever made.........................
