  1. They don't use the same test swaps on children they use on adults and they have found that they can get the same test results using smaller swabs and according to Vanderbilt the smaller swaps are just as effective for getting tests results.
  2. They take each students temperature before entering the school. If anyone has even a mild fever they send all students home and a person from Local health department comes to the homes of all the students including her children and test them and the tests are sent to Vanderbilt for test results which have so far not been needed since school has not started yet. That was the advice given in CDC manual. Yes the tests will be free and the test results will be free. It will work just like all the testing centers you would drive through. The school will be sanitized after school each day once school begins. All the parents have chipped in to purchase all the sanitizer needed plus there will be wall mounted hand sanitizing lotions so the kids can use them as necessary also donated by the parents. Believe me DIL is doing everything possible to protect the children once school begins.

    MEECES!

"Come on man" Put a few pictures of the ugly little piece of art up!! Some folks like "UGLY"
  4. Well my DIL is going by what the CDC is saying to do and she wrote them and requested a book of their recommendations for her small school. She is planning on starting school after Labor Day and as long as she does not get any children test positive will continue. If any 1 of them tests positive she will require all children to go home and stay home for 5 days and then come back for retesting and see if they can start school and the one testing positive stays home 14 days and his/her parents are required to be tested and cleared. She is not taking any chances with the children at all.
  5. We got a winter break at Christmas and a long weekend at Thanksgiving and that was it. We didn't even have snow days. Up where I went to school I don't care if it snowed a foot the night before. School was open the next day.
  6. I don't know what the big rush is to get them back in the Class room. Back when I was in Grade school we went back to school on September 5th and got out on May 30th and had 3 full months out of school. Does it take longer for teachers to do their jobs now more than back then? School started at 8:15 and ended at 3:15.
  7. I quit listening to that clown shortly after the pandemic hit he would say something and the next day change his mind and recommend something else only to do it again the next day. After a week of him I began muting the TV when he came on.
  8. I don't blame you at all. I had a friend wanting pretty much the same thing and he went to a couple of them shows but didn't find one worth buying. He finally had a guy in Gallatin that does leather work make him what he wanted. It cost a little more than he wanted to pay but he said the guy did beautiful work and it was worth the extra few bucks when he saw it and how well it fit. Might be something you need to look into is having one custom made.
  9. Last one of those I went to was not worth the price of admittance so have not been to another one. I would not go again even if there was no pandemic!!
  10. That is why I don't do auto with drawls on my account and just pay it when it comes due with debit card. To many times these companies screw up so I don't let anyone in my bank accounts.
  11. Believe me you would much rather be stopped by a County Mounty and a Game Warden at night if you have a rifle and a spot light in your vehicle. But then most County Mounties will just radio for a Game Warden to come and do all the arresting cause they are more up on those laws and it would save the County cop a ton of paperwork and his county will be reaping the rewards either way......LOL
  12. I sincerely hope they catch the low life scum that did this awful thing and put him behind bars for many years but I fear chances are slim that will happen. Prayers go out to the family.
  13. A rifle and spotlight will pay big dividend's to the county and state if a game warden catches you. I know a couple guys that got caught by a Game Wardens. They lost 2 really nice rifles. A really nice truck and both went to jail to post bond. They didn't know they were also be followed by the game warden with his lights off and he didn't turn on his rollers and spot lights till they had to spot light on a deer and were just about to shoot and before they could he scared the pee out of both of them The both ended up with 11/29 in jail lost truck and firearms and $1000.00 fines. Oh yea also lost hunting privilege's for 5 years in TN and surrounding states. Like Forrest Gump said, Stupid is as Stupid does!!!
  14. Dang, Texas is getting hammered first with the pandemic and now they have a Hurricane going to make land fall on Saturday. They can't catch a break here recently!!!
  15. I'm glad you already got the bait business. I'm not sure the police are back on patrol up there yet..…..
  16. Why would you wish something that bad on your friends down here?...…..
  17. Is that a statement showing the proper way to wear a mask by the Doctor???
  18. Glad I could help buddy!!

    MEECES!

I have had a few Mouse guns over the years but I always let someone talk me out of them. The only one I have I could call a Mouse gun is my Phoenix 22 and I do put it in my pocket when Darby and I go for walks even living out here in the sticks. I have probably put 500+ rounds down range with it and even though Fox has said that Rimfires will misfire and I have had that happen in long guns but I will have to say I have yet to have my Phoenix ever fail to feed or fail to fire and I have tried to get it to fail by using some really cheap ammo up to the CCI Stingers and it eats them like candy. I have tried to get it to malfunction by firing slow all the way to as fast as I can pull the trigger and it will eat the 10 round magazine up and want more. If I ever have to use it to defend myself I will empty the magazine into the perp and put a back up mag in that is with me in my pocket incase the perp wants more. It's a tad heavier than I like for a pocket gun but that comes with it being an all steel gun. I have been wanting another LCP. I have owned 3 of them and I have always let someone talk me into selling it to them. If I ever get my hands on another one I will own it till I die!!!

  21. I also saw this on the news and there is one thing that stood out to me. One of the trio arrested for shooting up the police stations was arrested just 1 day earlier on gun charges and running from the law in Brentwood and bonded out and the very next day he is loaded down with more guns and shooting up a police station. I wonder if the courts will see fit to allow him to post bond and give him a 3rd chance at possibly killing someone next time!!!!
  22. I think a lot of what is being said may be true but I also think there are some masks out there that work to protect the wearer as well as the people around them. I just receive a number of masks that have replaceable filters that will protect you from intake as well as exhaust. You can just snap off the filter cover after a few times of wearing it and install a new filter. The filter material is made to filter in both directions. They are made of .005 Hepa filter material. The outside of the mask is made to be wiped down with alcohol clothe or alcohol swab to clean it after each use and can be used many times if maintained properly. It may not be the perfect protection but it is much better than the throw away paper masks and I was glad to get them for sure and I have made about 50 replacement filters made from a Hepa filter purchased at Lowes. Just remember to wash your hands after doing the mask maintenance. and maybe use some hand sanitizer also....JMHO
  23. As far as being scared or not scared is not the point with me. I am doing everything humanly possible not to get it or possibly pass it on to any family or friends!! I have a bunch of masks and a bunch of Lysol to spray surfaces I use. I have about 6 bottles of sanitizing soaps on my sinks I wash my hands with and hand sanitizing bottles in every room. I have not been off this property in almost 3.5 months and my family does all my shopping and everything is handled with the most care and bags the groceries arrive in are sprayed with Lysol before discarding. So I am not out there tempting fate for me or my family. I am also not out there being an idiot just asking to get sick and possibly die.
  24. Oh yea, one more thing. I have a Living Will that does state no heroics, Do not resuscitate to sustain life. Just keep me out of pain and allow me to die with dignity. I do have underlying health issues so chances are slim to none I would survive it and there would be no sense in my keeping an ICU bed occupied when a younger healthier person could be in the bed that would have a much better chance to get well. I have lived with a belief that I don't fear death as much as I fear so called life on machine. Just let me die with peace and dignity....JMHO
  25. They wait till I got to old to use them and then they come out with fun new toys for big kids to play with...……...
