  1. Maybe the TFA needs to explain to the folks that want to compromise just how many votes they will be compromising by trying to play their games. I think about 2/3rds or more of Tennesseans are gun owners so their compromising may cost them 2/3rds or more of the votes in 2014 also. If they are worrying about getting or losing votes because it is an election year rather than doing what is right for the people then they need to be replaced with someone that will put the people first...............jmho
  2. Oh yea, they get inventory sheets about two or three days ahead of time telling them what is coming in on what trucks so they can make the shelves ready for stock in coming.   If an employee tells you he/she does not know when they will get an item in either he/she does not have anything in his/her work areas on the trucks and didn't get an inventory sheet or they are lying to you. One or the other................
  3. My Grandfather had 2 Belgium's on the farm and man they would work. Very smart and knew every command my grand father gave them. I saw them pull stumps out of the ground I think a big John Deere would have had great difficulty pulling out.......................
  4. I have another video that was never used on TV. An old bait customer of mine was also the advertising manager for Budweiser and after seeing the promo video he made the decision it would be a bad move to run it at that time. Since then he has retired from Bud but they have never aired this video to the best of my knowledge. he may have took it with him when he left and is not available in their inventory any longer. This video was made in I believe 2003. Just click on picture and it will go to my photo gallery so you can see the video. Be a little prepared as it is a touching video for sure. 5. Well, they all asked me back in the summer what I would like to have for Christmas because they say I am so hard to buy for so they pretty much knew well ahead of time but I know they had to work hard to find the ammo........... Now the Liquor was the easy part I'm sure...........
  6. I can remember when Santa came to our house when my boys were small and Santa had to assembly toys and the most aggravating thing was when you ran into their not being a part in the box required to assemble the toy and you had to begin improvising  parts to finish the toy. I don't know if the toy companies have gotten any better over the years with making sure all parts are included since I have not had to play Santa in many years now.............
  7. My Grandsons all got me some 22lr ammo as one of them works in one of the Walmart stores and together each got me a brick of 500. My son in law and daughter did a repeat of every year with a 1/5th Gentleman Jack and a 1/5th of Jack Black ole # 7. My son and his family got me 5 boxes of 380 ammo which they began looking for back in September for and bought a couple each time they found it. Looks like more range time for me in my future now....................
  8. W had his faults for sure and the war in Iraqi was more a Chenny war than a W war but W got the blame for it just the same........jmho  At least W didn't try and force folks to do things they didn't want to such as Obama is doing with the ACA. W never wanted to be a dictator but did want to be a President. I often wonder what would have happened had Obama been in office on 9/11/2001?????
  9. Great find Red and I know you and your wife will enjoy it..........
  10. I don't think I can find words to say how much I enjoyed that. Thank you very much for posting it on this day...........................    MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!!!!!
  11. When I first saw them I thought it was a new kind of Monopoly Money from a game. They say they are harder to counterfeit but with all the new colors on it a high end color copy machine could probably make them. I still like the old ones better and I am surprised ole Ben was not replaced with Barry's picture................  After all he is the one spending it faster than they can print it.............jmho
  12. I know their had got to be a few bud drinkers here or at least some horse guys so wanted to post this for all who are bud or horse guys. I love these horses and grew up in the town of Lemont, Illinois where the Bud horses are raised.     Hope you enjoy!       http://wallythekat.tripod.com/A_Pages/AA-Videos-YOU-Tube/Clydesdales.html
  13. I do realize it is all up to the individual on their carry preference and it is their right to carry their weapon either way. My choice is to carry concealed because if a bad walks into rob a place while I'm there I don't want him to make me his first target to eliminate a threat that he knows is there. I would much rather he go on and conduct business and I will react accordingly at a safe point while trying not to endanger myself or others in the process. If things escalate my reaction will also to what ever level is necessary to take care of business...............jmho
  14. Illinois has some very crazy laws about guns so I would research it very thoroughly before making any transactions..............jmho
  15. Have you ever had a feeling that when something is said by someone that the person does not believe what he is saying but says it to satisfy his peers. That is the way I see Mark Walberg. I know he talks anti gun but when you hear him say anything about being anti gun he just does not seem like his heart is in it. He does not as far as I know go around promoting anti gun legislation or speaking out for some politician about it. In all honesty I think in his heart he is pro gun and I would bet deep down he is hoping no one ever finds out he may have one or two hid back. I know he has felonies on his record which says legally cannot own one but how many other people are out there just like him that own them. I think he is saying what he is saying to keep working in Hollywood. A lot of the people that are pro gun and have spoke out about it are either old enough to not matter if they work anymore or they cannot find work any longer and that goes for the younger pro gun folks in that speak out. Of course this is.................jmho
  16. If the Libs had their way the old Daisey lever action BB gun I have would be included as an assault rifle.............jmho
  17. I just went and order all 3 disc's of it from NetFlix and should have them by Monday
  18. I have been using Cricket Broad band for about the last year or so. I was on dial up and broad band was like a rocket ship speed wise. I have cricket phone Service and two broad band units on two different computers here at the house and my bill for all is $83.00 a month with no contracts. If you have Cricket Phone service in your area it might be something to look into. You get like 2048 bps per month of high speed and when you go over the service slows down but you can still use it at no extra charge. I have only went over 1 time in over a year and i am on line a lot..............jmho
  19.   I really do agree with yo on this issue for sure. Just look at Bohner and Reid. The House sends bill after bill to the Senate for a vote and they just lay on Reid's desk in the ignore folder box because he is the one that decides on which bills are voted on and which ones are not. I don't think he or any other Senate leader should have that kind of power. I think if a bill is sent from the House to the Senate the Senate should hear the bill and vote on it in 7 days or it automatically passes. That would prevent all this BS about the crap that the House has not sent a budget or the House has not presented a health plan. This House has sent several hundred bills to the Senate on these issues and Reid trashes them in file 13 and never brings them to the floor for a vote. To me Reid needs to be put in file 13 along with all the bills..........jmho
  20. I do my best not to buy anything I know may be coming from a scalper and I can normally tell by their price if they are one or not. The ammo's I buy are only for guns I have so I pretty much know what should be a fair price for it...........jmho
  21. Well , I guess you can take a the Yankee out of the north but not the north out of they Yankee. It said I was born in upper Illinois near a town called Aurora. I was raised in a town about 25 miles from Aurora for the first 17 years of my life and since then I have lived in Tennessee and I am 65 now.
  22. I don't understand how folks can brag about Cracker Barrel gravy. I have had it 3 different times with a meal and to me it does not have much of a taste at all Really kind of bland like hospital food. I have one less the 10 minutes from my house and have been there 3 times n 14 years and that was just to meet with someone for a lunch or something and that was their choice and not mine......................jmho
  23. Wishing everyone on TGO a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A VERY PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!!!!!!....................
  24. I read that last night in yahoo news that she had passed away. Prayers go out to the family as they have been going out from me since the shooting. It stated last night that he shot her at almost point blank range which I don't think had been reported when it first happened. If that were the case her chances of making it would have been slim to none at best. We all know how much damage a 12 gauge can do at point blank range. I am not wanting to be negative in this but I ask myself, had she lived what kind of quality life would she have had. I am well versed in head injuries as I watched my son die along slow death over a four year period after his auto accident and brain stem damage and his quality of life was about 12 to 15% and declined to  his death. I don't believe there can be any more punishment a parent can suffer than to watch a child die a long slow death knowing you are totally helpless to protect or do anything to help him/her get better. Knowing what I know  now about her injury I feel she is in a much better place and at peace and even though it will never go away the family will at least be able to grieve, get closure and move forward knowing they did their best for her while she was with them............jmho
  25. I have never wanted a hot tub but for short time back years ago I rented a house that had a jacuzzi tub in it and man did I enjoy that tub after a long day at work. I would come home and run a tub of hot water and climb in and let the bubbles and jets run a solid hour and man did I sleep great after an hour in it. Very relaxing for sure. If this place had room to put one I would have had one put in years ago. Now with the possibility of a move in my future, If I move into my father in law house behind my daughters place I am definitely going to have one put in............jmho
