The original What-A-Burger from the 60s-70s was famous because they were huge! The thing would take up an entire plate. Plus they were very tasty. Grilled just right. This new version ain't no bigger than any other fast food burger and doesn't taste any better. And the service was slow to boot. I was very disappointed. I won't bother going back.

Ain't that the truth. We had What-A-Burgers in Memphis when I was a kid. I loved 'em! So when they came back just recently, I got all excited. I've eaten at the new one once. I won't be going back.

A woman in Texas went to a local range. First she rented and handgun and shot it. Then she returned to the counter, rented a full auto MP5, walked out the door with it and drove away. https://www.kens5.com/article/news/crime/surveillance-videos-show-woman-stealing-machine-gun-from-shooting-range/273-5d63c2e1-1c87-43cc-b1c2-7e05f8b8a69b She has been arrested. But no word on the sub-machine gun. It seems to be gone. https://news4sanantonio.com/news/local/woman-accused-of-stealing-machine-gun-from-shooting-range-arrested-converse-texas-bexar-county-sheriff-deputies-evidence-jail-charges-handgun#

As I understand it, Garcia never finished Basic Training. He was cut pretty quickly.

Holy Crap! That guy was one sick SOB!. He needed killin'. Wasn't there a fuss a few years ago after some guy shot up a church and it was discovered that he had been dishonorably discharged from the military? Air Force I think it was? Anyway FBI was supposed to be informed and this guy banned from ever buying any guns, but it didn't happen. Has anybody heard where Garcia got his guns? Did he buy them legally and how was he able to?

Has anybody else noticed that there's been very little mention of the victims? Usually by now their names and faces would be all over the news and internet. Yet, other than numbers, so far nothing. I kinda curious as to who this supposed white supremacist was targeting.
-
I vaguely remember hearing the name before, but I've never seen one. I guess we don't have 'em here in the west end. Is this something new around Nashville?
-
I have changed my opinion. I though they would let this drop quickly because the shooter was a POC. But now they are claiming he had interests in white supremacist and neo-Nazis. Now this is getting into the realm of a far right wing hate crime. You better believe that liberal MSM is gonna play this for all its worth.

Does seem to be a bit contradictory doesn't it?

This all goes back to the mental illness problem in this country. These people think they are worthless, useless and completely un-noticed. They want to die, but they also want it to be memorable so that everybody knows their name. They want to be noticed so badly that they're willing to die for it.
-
Quite possible. It being Texas, I guess I just automatically assumed Hispanic. I now realize that was foolish of me. So it may be an act of terrorism. I hope not. But we shall see.
-
I'm guessing the shooter is probably Latino. In which case MSM will let this quietly go away as he doesn't fit their agenda. I've noticed that there has been no rush to identify him and delve into his personal life. Usually by now, there would be full stories covering his full name and all sorts of sordid details about his life. Anybody remember the guy who shot up the Kroger store in Collierville a year or so back? Probably not. He was a Pacific Islander and didn't fit the agenda. MSM dropped that story real quick.

Then they emerged, a full dozen beagle pups. Note: every forum I've seen this tried on, the members took it into an absurdly ridiculous comedy. You guys are weird.

school shooting in Nashville at the Covenant School

I'm just passing along what the e-mail said. I admit to being curious as to her motives, but the rest I'm not really concerned about. -

I got an e-mail from TFA the other day. TFA along with one or two others, have filed court papers for the release of not just the "manifesto", but also all Police reports, body cams and messages connected to this case. For some reason Nashville PD has been reluctant to release any of this info. I wonder what it will reveal? -
They banned the sale of new guns Nobody was stupid enough to try to confiscate those already out there. And there are millions of these rifles already in circulation. Always remember, its was the British attempt to confiscate the colonist's firearms that started the American Revolution. It could happen again.

Yep, me too. I hated the M-16 when I was in the Army and really haven't changed my mind since. But I do have two ARs just because they don't want me to. But i wouldn't worry too much about a ban. I'm sure Washington State's ban will be overturned by the courts. And on the off chance that a nation wide federal ban passes, who's gonna enforce it? Very few cops are going to be willing to walk into that disaster. It'll likely start the 2nd American Revolution.

A SSGT I served with at Ft. Hood told a story of one night when he was in Viet Nam, he got drunk, climbed into a quad 50 and started cutting up the jungle just for fun. The next morning the patrol going out found a bunch of dead VC in that brush. He had stopped an attack and didn't even know it.

Bolsonaro was trying to introduce freedom to a nation that's pretty much been a dictatorship for most of its existence. He was also considered a U.S. puppet. Odds are the election was rigged to get him out. it seems that the people are fine with going back to the old ways. Nothing we can do about it anyway.
