I was/am one of those. As soon as this China Virus is no longer "useful" you will see much less reporting on it. Right now, the election is far from over, so they will still try and use it to do whatever it is they want passed. Problem is, people are getting wise to the BS, and noticing that their "beloved" leaders are not following their own mandates, because you know they are only for us peasants.

MSM said it, so it must be true. https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/24/us/coronavirus-cases-protests-black-lives-matter-trnd/index.html

Why aren't BLM and ANTIFA dropping like flies?, oh yea, only uber right gatherings are super spreader events, rioters are immune.

I tend to believe the tests they did BEFORE the China Virus, and before this became so political. As I have said before, I wear a mask when I absolutely have to, if workers or a bunch of customers don't have one on or wearing them incorrectly, I don't bother. As to the vaccine, nope, I've decided to take my chances. At this point, I have so many doubts about this whole mess, that it doesn't matter to me who says what, I will keep doing it the I have been this entire time. If I get it, officially, I will deal with it, or not, so be it.

Glad to hear, keep fighting it, you should be out of the woods soon.

Ok, I can weigh in on this a bit. I shot one of our old outdated soft body armor panels, Level IIIA, which had already been tested years ago, it still did very well. These are green tips, captured in the panel. I also sent some .40 at it, just for S&G. I could only find one that went through, a 5.56. To be fair, the panel was draped loosely, if it had been solid behind it, it may have been a different story. Fun fact, sometimes you don't feel the hit, until much later when the adrenaline has worn off and the bruising begins.

Well, not without asking, some may want them. Depending on what they look like, they can be used, once rinsed off, to create crappie habitats. I read where many folks do this, some even make artificial ones.

We have a friend who just was notified she had cancer, from going in to get checked to now being given just a few days to live, all in a span of just two to three weeks. Her daughter told us she is tired of fighting so I suspect she will go soon. For her, I'd support euthanasia, instead of going through all the pain and suffering, and the indignity of having everything done for you in the end. It should be a no brainer, when you have a terminal disease and only a short time left, it should be legal to choose to die on your own terms. We have discussed this at length in our family, we don't have DNRs, but have expressed our feelings that if we are being kept alive artificially and the quality of life is just not there, then we will make the decision to let that person go. DNRs are a bit too restrictive IMO, they won't even do CPR, which would suck if your heart stopped and all it needs is a jumpstart, with nothing else wrong.

Nah, I've got scuba gear to retrieve something better from one of the many boating accidents we will be having. Dang, gonna need a bigger boat! -
Something is very wrong, maybe this is why the death rate info is not available on the TN.gov or CDC website for 2019, it shows no discernable increase. https://www.macrotrends.net/countries/USA/united-states/death-rate United States - Historical Death Rate Data Year Death Rate Growth Rate 2020 8.880 1.120% 2019 8.782 1.120% 2018 8.685 1.220% 2017 8.580 1.240% 2016 8.475 1.270% 2015 8.369 1.270% 2014 8.264 1.290% 2013 8.159 0.090% 2012 8.152 0.090% 2011 8.145 0.090% 2010 8.138 0.090% 2009 8.131 0.090% 2008 8.124 -0.960% 2007 8.203 -0.950% 2006 8.282 -0.960% 2005 8.362 -0.940% 2004 8.441 -0.930% 2003 8.520 -0.330% 2002 8.548 -0.330% 2001 8.576 -0.310% 2000 8.603 -0.320% Similar Countries Ranked by Death Rate Country Name 2020 Death Rate Latvia 14.740 Lithuania 13.910 Croatia 13.206 Hungary 12.697 Estonia 11.835 Germany 11.392 Greece 11.035 Japan 10.865 Portugal 10.813 Italy 10.658 Poland 10.314 Slovenia 10.148 Austria 9.919 Finland 9.862 Denmark 9.848 Belgium 9.784 Puerto Rico 9.734 Uruguay 9.474 United Kingdom 9.413 France 9.365 Aruba 9.296 Spain 9.213 Sweden 9.145 Barbados 9.105 Curacao 9.018 Netherlands 8.908 United States 8.880 Trinidad and Tobago 8.601 Malta 8.530 Switzerland 8.091 Norway 7.960 Seychelles 7.921 Channel Islands 7.872 Canada 7.803 Taiwan 7.760 Argentina 7.612 Cyprus 7.159 Luxembourg 7.114 New Zealand 7.083 Bahamas 6.920 Hong Kong 6.828 Iceland 6.773 Australia 6.647 Antigua and Barbuda 6.474 Chile 6.311 South Korea 6.305 Ireland 6.229 New Caledonia 5.894 French Polynesia 5.806 Israel 5.323 Guam 5.320 Panama 5.136 Singapore 4.752 Macao 4.087 Saudi Arabia 3.557 Kuwait 2.908 Oman 2.451 Bahrain 2.450 UAE 1.586 Qatar 1.298

Edit the post and get rid of some of those hard returns [enter] between sentences. Some forum software can't handle them.

And apparently Rick Schroder, glad to know all of Hollywood hasn't sold their souls.

Well, there was plenty of target practice. [/sarc]

We had some that were rather light, but don't know how they compare to AR500 plates, in both weight and energy dissipation.

I agree, but the crime they charged him with may be defensible, depending on what the statute says. The weapon was not purchased so he could go out and kill someone, so no intent, isn t that what prosecutors always lean on? These are state charges though, the feds might come in on this one if the state doesn't convict. ATF might be chomping at the bit for it, anyway it turns out.

2 MILLION bail, because he is such a flight risk says the judge. The prosecutor wanted between 4 and 10 million, even though the few terrorists they arrested during the "peaceful protests" were released on their own recognizance. Hope he has security 24/7, he will be targeted by every ANTIFA and BLM who wants to make a name for themselves and get street cred from all the other scum of the earth members. https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/Police-Shooting-Wisconsin-Kenosha/2020/11/20/id/998082/ MODS: I think this belongs here as it has massive significance for ALL our rights to self-defense. But if you think otherwise, just move it.

HOUSE BILL 11 By Reedy HB0011 000034 - 1 - AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39, Chapter 11, Part 6, relative to justifications excluding criminal responsibility. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE: SECTION 1. SECTION 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2021, the public welfare requiring it. -
I hope you get well soon, fight the good fight, and keep positive thoughts.

A Modest Proposal for President Trump

I am not sure there is no evidence, the whole dominion software thing seems to be enough evidence to invalidate enough state's elections to make a difference. And IMO, enough evidence to line up a few people up against the wall without the option of a blindfold. -
More like this.

Don't count on it being over just yet, if this election is not corrected now, we will surely end up in a shooting war, not right away mind you, but not too far off. The American people deserve to have what the military has been trying to give other countries, a free and fair election. If we can't guarantee one for our own government, how can we be expected to fight for this for other countries? There is just so much evidence that something just isn't right that there is no way they can just let it go, it needs to be investigated and heads need to roll, there is no other way. -
The problem is that we have too many deer and not enough hunters taking does. Same with the CWD areas, nobody wants to take a doe if it can be infected, so they are trying to get more hunters to take does, and more than 1 buck.

My biggest hit will be if he lets Trump tax cuts expire, that is a direct hit to my income. The businesses will pass on their taxes to us the consumer, but unless I really need something I can avoid spending my money, which in turn will make prices go up, do to consumers like me. Doesn't it sound wonderful?
