  1. I tried to shoot the Monarch steel case out of my Taurus PT111 G2. It wasn't the pistol. Had 4 to 6 out of 100 rounds that did not go off. The rest did fire. I had a similar experience with Wolf steel case ammo. It was 45 ACP out of my Ruger P90. So I will not buy any more steel case pistol ammo. Thanks, gearyr
  2. Bullet! The Steve McQueen movie. Brad Pitt would be good for Steve McQueen's part. gearyr
  3. I bought a box of aluminum case 9mm 115 grain ammo at Wally World. Haven't shoot it yet. Any one on here shot any of it? I bought 2 boxes of the Academy Sports Monarch steel case 9mm. JUNK! I had several FTF. I won't buy any of crap again. Thanks, gearyr
  4. X-treme plated bullets are 15% off regluar price. Started today. Good today thur Dec.1. I have been using X-treme 115 grain 9mm bullets for a while. Shoots great! I do not work for X-treme. I thought you guys might want to know about them. gearyr
  5. I too have the Taurus PT111 G2. GREAT pistol! Bought it last year at Academy in Mt. Juliet. I have shot factory ammo and my reloads. No problem at all. I just hope they come out with a PT145 G2. I want a compact carry pistol in 45ACP. gearyr
  6. Cabelas is also building a store in Bowling Green, KY. Suppose to open this fall. Ii is going to be near the Sam's club. gearyr
  7. Won't never happen here in Tenn. Gov. Haslied and the rest of those no good politicians will never vote this in! I am still waiting on them to change the parking lot bill. Can't have my handgun in my truck on company property! They search my truck, I am fired! Company policy. And yes I have my HCP. gearyr
  8. Well I have loaded thousands of 9mm 115 grain FMJ with 6.0 grains of Power Pistol. Never had any problem with them. And the oal at 1.120. So I will load up 50 of the Xtreme bullets and see how they shoot. Thanks, gearyr
  9. I bought 1000 of the Xtreme 9mm, 115 grain plated bullets at the Hendersonville gun show. The only powder I have a lot of right now is Power Pistol. So if any one has any load data using a plated bullet and Power Pistol let me know. Also, I have contacted Alliant. The gave me a cast lead bullet data. Max load of Power Pistol 5.5 grains. But no oal. Thanks, gearyr
  10. Any song that Taylor Swift sings! Or as I call her Taylor Twit! She aint country at all. gearyr
  11. His real name is Haslied! I can't stand this jerk. Wish I had voted for son of Ned in stead. gearyr
  12. She was born in Indianopolis in 1961. She and her family move to Gallatin area in 1961. gearyr
  13. Thanks guys! The wife wants to get her TN HCP. She is off this summer. So we are going to drive up and get her birth certifacte. Proably see some of her family that is still living there. gearyr
  14. Me and the wife are going to Indianopolis, IN to get a copy of her birth certifacte. She was born in Indianopolis. She move here to TN when she was 1 year old. So does Indiana honor out TN HCP? Thanks, gearyr
  15. Here is the link to Guns in Movies. Guns in Movies, TV and Video Games
  16. I can't find any bullets to reload a Marlin 30-30! I have never seen any thing like this! I have looked all over the internet and local reloading shops. No 150 grain RN bullets for reloading. If I get to go to the Lebanon gunshow this weekend, maybe some one there will have some. Got plenty of 30-30 brass and primers. Need some W748 powder to. gearyr
  17. The place I work at has  a policy. They can search our cars for contarband and weapons. If any are found we will fired on the spot!. This a union work place. So the new trunks in cars law does nothing for the people that have a HCP where I work at. Can't quit. been there over 30 years. So I will have to leave my handgun at home when I go to work. I do have a HCP. These lawmakers got bought by big business again. Thanks alot lawmakers for nothing. gearyr
  18. Can you carry your handgun there? I have a HCP. If I can, mine will be concealed. And what time is this going on?
  19. What assualt rifles? I have 4 semiautomatic rifles. Not assualt rifles. I guess my Marlin is considered a assualt rifle. Holds 17 rounds of 22LR in the tubular magazine! gearyr
  20. You should have told her that, that sign was against Tenn. law. I would contact the people that are over the state parks. And tell them about that. gearyr
  21. Try Midsouth Shooters Supply in Clarksville. A lot cheaper than Reloaders Bench and Bass Pro. You can call them and place a order. Then go pick it up there. But they want you to have the correct change when you pay for your order. gearyr
  22. Keep the Yugo. I love mine. Got it from Aim when they had them like new condition for $99.99 and free shipping. I had a C&R license back then. Wish I had bought 5 of them. Better SKS than the Chinese SKS rifles. gearyr
  23. I can't believe that is the last Batman movie. They are so good. Look at all the James Bond movies. Since I think 1962, there has been a Bond picture. Why kill off a great hero. They need to keep making them. There is still a lot of villians for Batman to get rid of. gearyr
  24. I have a Ruger P90 and a P89. Both of them have one in the chamber. That's the way I carry my P89. That is what I like about both of them, the safety. All I have to do is flip up the safety and I am ready to shoot. Either squeeeze the trigger or pull back the hammer. Ready to rock and roll. gearyr
  25. Maybe it's me. But I don't understand our Dept. of Safety. We can renew our drivers license online, but not our HCP. Does not make since to me. But any thing that involves doing something easy is not how are goverment works. I have renewed my drivers license online several times. Better than going and waiting all day at the drivers license center. gearyr
