  1. I like it...!  Got his brother in a model 13...    leroy
  2. Tercel... This is most likely the problem... Ya need a bit of lube on the expander ball...   leroy...
  3. D.M. Bullard... Look at their site and pick one ya like... I pretty well like em all...   leroy
  4. Dolomite spoke a great truth here... These are ancient monsters... The way to deal with ancient monsters is to decimate them... That's how the Romans did it... Sometimes terrible brutality is the answer... I think this is one of those times... US General William T Sherman said:   "...War is cruelty...There is no use trying to reform it... The crueler it is, the sooner it will be over..."...   leroy
  5. We've got one in 44 mag... They are a great little lever gun... They are great shooters... They did, in fact, make em in 357 mag... Ive seen very few of them for sale over the years...   Enjoy... leroy
  6. This witch ought not to have done this... The Ruskies aint near as tolerant and effeminate as the rest of europe... She has evidently forgotten Chechnya...   Watchin leroy...
  7. This is me too Willis... Be glad ta send a few along... I'm a pocket knife junkie anyway...!   leroy
  8. Wrap it up... I'll take it... Yall pick the logo... leroy
  9. Coms hit the nail on the head here... We used to use Herco, and it burns about like Unique... We used the 7.0 recipe with the 230 grain hardball loads with good results... Herco used to be used more than it is now.. A bit more velocity with heavier bullet weights...    Hope this helps... leroy
  10. Glad ta hear it... I hate condescension...real or non intended...    leroy
  11. Who said they were... The intent of the post was to point out that the 300 blackout and the 308 are different... I aint sure what your intent is; could it be to show us all how smart ya are...? leroy
  12. res... RE: This... I've got powder that's older than some of the 30 somethin year old posters here; and that aint meant to be demeaning... It's simply true... It's pretty easy to tell if the powder is bad... I always smell for the acetone type smell (..smells like a solvent... and is...) and look ta see if the powder is still gray colored... If it is, its ok... If it smells funny (...acrid or bitter...) or has a red or brownish tinge, i wouldn't use it... I've got canisters of DuPont IMR type stick powder that is at least 30 years old...    RE:  The 38 special reloads thing... My "go to" reload with 158 grain hard cast bullets is 5.3 grains of Unique...I also like the old 38 44"High Speed"  load of 12.0 grains of 2400, but ya need a big pistol to shoot these in (...the "44" referred to the 44 frame revolvers the loads were designed for...)... That's most all we use... I think a jacketed bullet is a waste in a 38 special; but that's just me... Right here is a great 38 special reloading treatise from a guy i like alot...   http://www.sixguns.com/tests/tt38spcl.htm   Hope this helps a bit... leroy
  13.   Amen brother...!    Well said...   Thank you for speakin out...   admirin leroy....
  14. Here's a geezer view... We used to shoot a lot of 308 thru bolt guns... A 308 is, in fact, a long range round... I think it's a waste of time to shoot a 308 less than about 250 yards... They are deadly accurate out to 1000 yds...witness the use by the military in the olden days... I like the 300 blackout, but comparin it to a 308 is like comparin a pistol cartridge to a rifle cartridge... They simply aint in the same league...   leroy
  15. I got one of these too 1m.... They are a great thing... A "real" pistol...   leroy
  16. Woogie Boogie...!   Smith airweight hammerless in a pocket holster... Right front pocket...   leroy
  17. Wing...   I've got several shoulder holsters; Bianchi old time shoulder (...X18... i think...) and a real good military built by El Paso saddlery... Back in the long ago, used to carry a 1911 in the Bianchi... The problem with it wuz it just aint comfortable... I never could get mine adjusted to suit me... The pistola gets heavy and it is somewhat of an aggravation down towards the end of the day... If you are barrel chested, or have short arms; a bianchi aint as easy to reach for as you might think... I've never tried the newer "balanced" type shoulder rigs that have the pistola on one side and the mags or speed loader on the other... My suspicion is that they are a bit more comfortable for a small pistola; not a large one like the Glock 20....Weight is weight no matter where it's hung... Now to the military by El Paso... They work like a charm.. I like 'em a lot... They work very well sittin down or riding, because they are in the right place for ya ta get your hands on... The problem... Mine wuz $100 plus a bunch of years ago (...i'm an El Paso Saddlery "junkie"...)...   Havin said all that,; here is a bunch i really like.... http://clarkforkleather.com/leather-chest-holster/   I intend to order one of these shortly for my Glock cannon... I like 'em lots... I believe they will be lots more comfortable... I can't see givin $175 plus for the same thing from some of the "more well known makers"...   Hope this helps....   leroy
  18. Wing... Both mine still have the stock recoil spring in 'em... I'm kinda like you... Probably need ta look at a bit heavier one... I like the idea of a rifled barrel to shoot hard cast linotype loads out of... Would like to try some 200 grain truncated flat noses in them; and load 'em pretty heavy... I'm kinda thinkin about a Storm Lake barrel; they are brother Tennesseeans right here in East Tennessee... http://www.storm-lake.com/ ... My guess is that their aint a nickel's worth of difference between any of them... They all work very well...   leroy
  19. Wing... I got his brother plus a gen 3... The gen 3 has "Big Dot's" on it... i really like them... Order ya some Underwood ammo... I like the 180 to 200 grain stuff....   leroy
  20. Sometimes brutality and corporal punishment is the answer...!!   leroy
  21. Thanks for posting this...I think it's hilarious that this demorat son of satan has had to back-track... I loathe and despise Terry McAluffe... He symbolizes all that is wrong with politics and the overbearing "we're so right" class of liberal trash.... I think it's great that the citizens of VA were heard loud enough by the state legislature to over-run this sickening piece of Northern Virginia trash... The people of VA deserve better than McAluffe... Maybe they are wizin up a bit...   Here's hopin... despisin leroy
  22.   This is a great truth... The "inner city" population are gonna have to clean up their own messes... I stay away from these "problem areas" and i would advise everyone else to as well... Arm yourselves just in case they go to roamin a bit; and they do...   Non carin leroy....
  23. Fee grabbin... It's about the money no matter what the clownish Knoxville Chief of police says... The best way to get even with the city of knoxville is to stay out of it... I drive the speed limit where ever i go in knoxville and most everywhere else... It saves lots of problems...   leroy
  24. The "moonshine-Mountain Dew" thing is interestin.... I'm like some other brother and sister posters here...?  There could be some charges commin from this...   leroy
  25. It must be a moon phase thing... Need to check the almanac....   ...Toyota v6's underpowered...?  Interestin... All of mine must have been defective... They all run very well... Tacoma Twin Cab Pre-Runner and ...FJ's included...   ....FJ aint an off road vehicle...?  Interestin too... Mine is... And ive got a 99 Wrangler with a 3 inch lift and an inline 4.0...   https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=T1LNIHi9Xrg   Wonderin leroy....
