  1. We saw it last weekend. Thought it showed a powerful message. The fact that Disney wouldnt release it is enough for me to buy into it, not to mention the respect i have for Tim Ballard, Jim Caviezel and Angel Studios. Mel Gibson, who I also respect had supported it also, i think maybe after the fact. When the left goes after something to this degree, it usually means its something to support and listen to. Whether or not there a huge secret govt cabal of child traffickers like qanon alleges or not, the fact exists that child trafficking IS a huge problem and needs to be stopped. God's children are NOT for sale/.
  2. Im right behind you! I keep looking at the guns on here and elsewhere and want to buy, but then I think, Im on the verge of retirement, do i really Need another gun, lol. So far, I do still buy the latest tech like phones/watches and ipads, as I know that once I do retire, i wont be able to do that. I really have more guns than I can shoot right now, and I also know that if the apocalypse hits, i wont survive very long without my meds anyway.
  3. Looks like a good deal.
  4. I can attest to the fact that most insurance companies care more about claims than fault. Several years back i got canceled by a company because of 2 claims in a 12 month period. Neither was my fault. One was an uninsured motorist, and the other was a hit and run while parked. The cost of each one was a couple grand, so I understand their concern, but I didnt expect to get canceled because of them as they weren't my fault.
  5. I saw that the other day. Many of my out of state friends think Tennessee is way more gun friendly, law wise, than it actually is. I don’t want to get too far into politics on here lest I get in trouble, but I did notice that the TNGOP invited Desantis to be their guest speaker at their Statesman Dinner event, while TFL’s annual fundraiser event snagged Trump.
  6. It started before this in my opinion. He promised constitutional carry during his first campaign, but as soon as he was elected, any mention of that was scrubbed from his web page. Then he's obfuscated and obstructed any attempts at improving our gun laws.
  7. Interesting perspective. Hopefully the bad publicity will force Lee to stop this or the legislature stop it more likely. Boy, Lee fooled a lot of folks with his election promises didnt he?
  8. Got a pic of the other sude?

    Keltec R50

Just got an ad from Keltec about the R50, their new pistol in 5.7 50 rounds in a pistol? Wow. Always liked that caliber but never got into it because of the cost of ammo. Anyone else seen them?
  10. True. I remember what happened the last time. https://www.reuters.com/world/us/nra-board-directors-re-elects-wayne-lapierre-executive-vice-president-2022-05-30/ and the time before that https://apnews.com/article/d5d90ab1596f478c8f20d4dbe3f73979 Im not sure how any real change can be effected as long as the current crew is running things. I get my ballots from them, but theyre geared towards the people they want it seems.
  11. If you were closer to Nashville, Id try to help figure it out. GLWS1
  12. Me too. Especially not as long as Wayne LaPierre is there.
  13. PM sent.
  14. My conservatism could never allow me to vote for RFK Jr. But I like how he talks about certain things, Covid vacs for one, but there are several.
  15. I need to check that one out again. It was Uber crowded last time I went, some time ago, with a huge line to get in. Even though it had seen its best days, I hated losing the Nashville show. Lots of Gond memories there. Also, Hendersonville had a pretty decent show for a minute. Seems like there’d were issues with the venue contracting if something and it didn’t last too long. I like a good mix of guns, gun stuff and related stuff, LOL. I have enough guns. Actually, I rarely bought a gun at a gun show. I drooled on them a lot though. Wish we could get mine back in middle Tn closer to me than myotonic.
  16. I haven't seen anything from them, only the TFA email.
  17. I got an email today from TFA warning of another organization operating under the same name as this forum. Here is an excerpt from that email. TGO David, you might want to look into them using this forum's name.: "Tennessee Firearms Association has been active and lawfully formed in Tennessee and with the IRS since as early as 1995. The state political action committee, Tennessee Firearms Association Legislative Action Committee, is a registered state PAC since 1996 and has decades of public filings with the state to account for its activities. In addition, there is an entity that has been in Tennessee for many years known as "Tennessee Gun Owners" or to some simply "TGO". It entity is known by many for decades as one of the online forums to talk about firearms and has an good reputation among gun owners. Following the Covenant Shooting, Gov. Lee called for the Legislature to pass a Red Flag law. That has obviously increased public attention on 2nd Amendment issues in Tennessee and public willingness to be involved. On April 19, 2023, shortly after Gov. Lee publicly demanded a Red Flag law, a new entity was formed in Tennessee under the name "Tennessee Gun Owners" - see Secretary of State's Business Search. This entity has a mailing address on 12th Avenue South in Nashville which appears to be a private mail box at a UPS store. This entity is sending out mailers asking for money to fight the Red Flag issue and directs people to mail them your credit card number in care of "Chris Dorr". The recent formation by Dorr of a Tennessee entity appears similar to other organizations set up in other states that some reports also link to Chris Dorr or others in his family."

    Weapon Light

I have a crimson trace white light/green laser combo on one of my shields that I keep bedside. It’s just in a soft holster to protect it from scratches/dust, etc. I don’t carry it.
  19. Is there a middle Tennessee facility that does good quality cerokoting? I'm interested in having my P-365 Macro cerokoted. Does anyone know how well cerokote holds up on a non-metal pistol grip module?
  20. That's a pretty gun. What is the finish on it?
  21. Pretty gun. Love the cetomore job and color. GLWS.
  22. Seems like I read on here once that with the SS number bring optional when doing the tics paperwork, more false flags come back if you don’t include it. If you don’t include yours, you might think about doing that.
  23. well. If he's right, Im pissed off again.
  24. Guess it depends on how close and how often, in what direction and what time if you were my neighbor, and of course, you COULD invite me to shoot too, lol.
  25. I guess I just don't like the ATF. They could offer me free full auto machine guns and id still find fault with them.
