  1. I wondered where that went! Wonder if I can claim it st the police dept? kidding, don’t smoke anything. But if they legalize it, I may try gummies or other edibles for nerve pain. I have it in my left arm and hand and it can be agonizing sometimes. Hurts pretty much all the time but sometimes really bad.
  2. Mine is pretty good in most ways. She's young and up to date on modern stuff, and seems to know a lot for a younger person. Great personality and spends enough time with me usually, but I still have to write down topics/issues I want to address as she's busy enough that when she's done she's done and leaves the room. She also like to prescribe meds maybe a little more than I like. I'm wanting to retire soon, so i want to start getting OFF some meds, not get on more. Even with insurance, some of then get expensive with higher co-pays.
  3. Wow. That's always a fear I have. The very first gun I used that had a decocker was the M9 berettas we had in the military. We changed from S&W .38s to the M9 and my only experience with semi autos before then was with 1911s. So when was first at the range we went through some drills with it before qualifying and they had us load it and then decock it while pointed downrange. Later, after I started carrying it daily, I continued to be leery of decocking that darn gun. Our policy was to load the weapon at a clearing barrel, then decock it before holstering for the shift. I distinctly remember watching the hammer go forward, each time expecting a bang! Eventually I got used to it, but still point my decocker guns in a safe direction when decocking.
  4. Best price so far was Osage. They were in stock so I ordered a few yesterday. Think they're arriving tomorrow. I've ordered from them before so I am confident in them. 2 were 105.05 total, including USPS shipping.
  5. Thanks, i completely forgot about them! I've bought several other mags and accessories form them in the past. Just placed my order for 2 more 17 rounders. Should be set for a while now.
  6. I have ordered from them quite a bit, but I guess I just foirgot ab
  7. Thanks, BigK!
  8. You’re right, it did. I agree, but one must be careful. I had hopes and worries that the Tea party movement of a while back might split from the GOP into an actual party, but the RINOs were able to squash it.
  9. I can’t remember which thread had it but whoever posted the links for cheaper priced p-365 17 round mags, have you ordered from the sites you listed? Thinking about ordering a few more but want some sense that they are legit. I often have the dangest time finding a thread on TGO. I’m pretty tech savvy for an older guy. But this software sometimes gives me fits. Not complaining as it’s probably just me.
  10. Larry, do you have any 365 variant now? I was going to get a macro frame for my XL Spectre, but I have a boatload of 12 round mags so didn’t want to waste that. With the tac dev floor plate on my 12 Round EDC mag, I’m very happy with the fit in my hand, plus I carry 17 rounders as reloads. I’m not loving the stock 17nround floor plate, but haven’t seen one yet I like better. I doubt I’ll get the macro.
  11. While I agree with that in principle, I did it exactly that in 1992, voting for Ross Perot. All that did was pull enough conservative votes away from GOP George W. Bush to give Bill Clinton enough votes to win. That didn’t work out as planned to say the least!
  12. And for dipping my French fries in. Nasty little habit I picked up overseas.
  13. Thanks, David.
  14. I just got a Holosun EPS Carry to replace the 507k on my non-comp Sig P-365XL Spectre. I've read many horror stories online about thread stripping and I don't want to screw this up. The box comes with the sight, an RMSC adapter plate and 3 sets of screws. The screws all come with blue threadlocker on them. The screws are all different, but seem to be the same length. The differences seem to be in the top part of the screws just before the head. I didnt want to remove the old optic until I was sure I had what I needed to install the new one. Holosun's instructions werent clear. Anyone have suggestions?
  15. Looking at the Goonbeams online, it looks like they are programmed with the button. I despise adjustimng via the on/off button. Is there a separate button to program or cycle through?
  16. Got my refund thus evening on PayPal. I’ll say this, their shot may catch on fire, but their customer service on this issue was top notch. Now to find a replacement. I can’t spend 300 on a light though.
  17. Let us know when/if yours comes through. I will too.
  18. Where did did you ask for your money to go? I opted for PayPal, but it hadn’t showed up yet.
  19. Sounds like a plan. Kidney stones, yikes!
  20. I don’t, and channel 5 is prob the most liberal of the three, too. Only watched the video online because it was about TFA .
  21. I feel ya! I was supposed to go to the Nashville one with a good buddy of mine but he died a while before so I went alone. Wasn’t near as fun as sharing the experience with a friend. My health has also gotten worse since then, but I’d love to go again if it comes close again. I’d need to figure out a way to reg though, and I remember the chair situation, lol, you’re right.
  22. Yeah not sure if they’re all like the Nashville one, but that one was packed! I was on the floor all day snd itvwas sometimes pretty congested.
  23. Mine got back to them quickly and they were quick to let me know that, followed up by an email that said they’d accepted my return, and would issue a refund forthwith. Haven’t actually got the money yet, snd I asked for it via PayPal. I couldn’t remember his much I’d paid for the light, but seem to remember 100, or so, so I put 105 on the form and they accepted that amount. So far, while their flashlights kinda scare me, I am impressed with their customer service for sure. Heck, I didn’t even buy it from them directly snd had no receipt.
  24. Today a WTVF/Phil Williams video showed up in my online news feed. Not sure when it aired on channel 5, but I’ll tell you this, I’ll never watch that channel again! I was boiling mad by the end of it. You can look it up online and watch it for yourself, but the focus was twisting the TFA, John Harris, and all 2nd amendment supporters as cold hearted, white nationalist, idiots who don’t care about children and want to make Tennessee more dangerous thinner it already is. Oh and we also want to have a revolution and violently overthrow the Tennessee duly elected government too. What an a**.
  25. I went when it was in Nashville several years ago. I didn’t attend any dinners or speeches and spent all my time wandering the main display floor, lusting after guns and gear.I was exhausted at the end of the day, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Not a big NRA fan anymore, despite having a life membership, but I’d go again if it was close.
