  1. I had a chance to tour their factory several years ago for work. It was impressive. Then later heard Ronnie Barrett speak in the Outpost Armory parking lot at a 2nd amendment rally. His story impressed me.
  2. I have and will continue to write my state senator and rep but i live in liberal Davidson County and they don't even bother to respond to me.
  3. I’m curious about whether or not one could go through the free sir route, then replace the brace with a conventional stock. Some one else asked the same thing, but does anyone know for sure about this?
  4. Interested in y’all’s opinion of her and her changed views on the 2nd Amendment, my first blush was not to trust a politician that fills, e specially on the second amendment. But, I am guilty of changing my mind s time or two in my life, well not really on the 2nd Amendment, but on other things. Increasingly, of late, I find myself watching her podcasts and liking many of the things she says. But in the back of my mind I find myself wondering, is it a trick? Is she for real?
  5. If you bought the brace and pistol already factory assembled new from the gun store, doesn’t the ATF already know what you have? I know there’s laws against national gun registry, but I reckon they have that already and just call it something different. Fed govt is way out of control. I remember G. Gordon Liddy, back in the 90s, calling the ATF Jack-booted thugs. Lately, the FBI had been publicly revealed to have committed many crimes against the citizenry. I could go on and on. Time for some changes.
  6. What gen is this Glock? Do you happen to know if one of the included pates will allow a 507k optic to be mounted? I know the c and k models have different footprints.
  7. Just sent mine. Gotta wonder how she will go. Wish our state legislature page had links to how legislators voted on every bill.
  8. Yeah, mine is Heidi Campbell so probably a waste of my time, but I'm emailing her now. Any suggested language for this? Im bad with words sometimes.
  9. Apple Watch 8. Kinda jonesing for the Apple Watch Ultra though.
  10. I doubt we’re even that close! The volume of vehicles they want fully electric can’t be supported by our electricity grids. Look at California asking/demanding folks not charge their electric vehicles during peak periods, and the rolling blackouts we had last month. And they don’t seem to be upgrading the grid, at least not as fast as we are growing our needs. We just need to start immediately producing and refining our own oil. I remember a comment by Bill Clinton when he was president and asked why don’t we build more refineries in the u.s to hs,p with the cost of gas. His response was it would take 10 years. Dumbass.
  11. Is the LCP Max also available in 9mm? I didn’t know that. Wait, I see you’re talking about the Max 9, not the LCP Max.
  12. You're wife is going to be mad at me-I have the LCP Max in ,380 and i love it. Its not my EDC but I do carry it when I have to attend meetings in business clothes.
  13. Is thus the mos version?
  14. I have a Mossberg 500a pistol grip only Cruiser in 12 ga that ain’t exactly fun to shoot, lol, so when I decided to get one if the smaller shotguns I went for the Shockwave in 20 ga. I’ve read much about the trade off between 20 and 12 ga as regards perceived recoil and effectiveness at close ranges, so this affected my decision. I’ve only fired it a few times, but I don’t regret my decision. Only thing I ‘might’ have done differently is go with a semi auto variant.
  15. I’ve apparently has more money than sense the last 5 years or so and have grown my gun collection to a point that it’s difficult for me to shoot and or take care of them all, so I want to give serious thought to reducing/consolidating down to a more knowledgeable number. For a minute I was concerned about TEOTWAWKI and stocked up for that. But at 67, my health is not great. I just can’t move like I used to. I doubt I’d survive long enough to be very useful in a tough situation like that. I probably will keep at least one or two guns in every caliber I have, but still will sell some for sure. I just need to do some thinking about what I want to keep. My wife is a lot younger than me and has already told me which few she wants. My sons aren’t getting any and my daughters will get one es h probably. Anyway…just the musings of an old man, but I really need to figure this out and make it happen soon. I’ll be selling on here once I make up my mind. Anyone who has done this, please pm me your methodology on what to keep/sell.
  16. Did you have extra weight in the back?
  17. As much as his conscious allows, as long as it’s honest money and not from criminal activity.
  18. I see your point. Our state government spends a great deal of time and resources recruiting and helping fund bringing businesses to Tennessee. That will be the end of Tennessees greatness imo. If you watch Yellowstone, you may remember John Duttons speech where he said, “I’m the opposite of progress. I’m the wall it bash’s against, and I won’t be the one that breaks!’ This is what we need. Wish our governor was like that. Progress isn’t always a good thing. I think new business might bring more revenue, and we need new revenue to expand infrastructure to support new businesses and the employees they bring here, but it’s never enough to actually increase it enough, and takes a huge toll on the environment and animal life. While if we were to stop now, we’d not get back to the old Tennessee, we’d at least stop destroying it.
  19. Anyone know anything about these? Pros/cons?
  20. Reminds me of being in the USAF stationed at northern tier bases. In addition to long stints in England and Germany, I spent a couple years in upstate New York, a couple years in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and a year well inside the Arctic Circle at Thule, Greenland. Only went outside this morning to get the ice to spread on the porch steps and the w9ind was bitter, but without all the snow! Certainly reminded me of those other cold places, but i keep reminding myself it was way worse there. Thule was the worst, with storms blowing in that were so bad that going outdoors meant death. The UP was pretty bad too. there were times I couldn't even open my house doors because of the deep snow. I kept a snow shovel outside and had to climb out a second story roof many times and jump off into the snow that was almost over my head, make my way to the garage and shovel to get my Ramcharger out. Since I'm old now, this seems just as bad, lmao. \We've had one ten minute power cut this morning in Goodlettsville.
  21. Looking for a G-45, preferably FS model, but without optic. Suppressor height sights a plus.
